his 5th house is in Cancer, my 8th house is in Cancer. Actually they begin even closely to each other, his 5th house cusp on 15 Cancer, my 8th house cusp on 12 Cancer.

On its own it doesn`t mean much probably, depends on the aspects to Moon, as Leeloo stated.

His Moon is conjunct my Sun and Mercury.
My Moon is not really activated all that much from his chart (widish trine to his Pluto 4-5 degrees; sextile to his Neptune at appr. 3 degrees).

If we are REALLY going overboard with orbs we might count his Moon conjunct my Venus (7-8 degrees), and together with his PLuto trine my Moon, it makes for a connection between 5th house rulers and one between 8th house rulers.

Uh oh. Guess you better add me to that list. I'll count it, of course, if it's parallel, or part of a stellium, or otherwise quite active. But, I do agree that aspects with closer orb are going to be felt first. And thus, it depends on just how strong that sucker is. Applying or separating, too.

I am seriously tempted, but it is across the sign border. His Moon on 28-29 Sag, my Venus on 6 Cap. And his Sun is on 27 SAg, so maybe pulling his Moon evne a little back into Sagittarius, away from my Venus.

I am actually getting a little mellow with my orbs - within REASON of course.

but noipe his Moon is not parallel my Venus. His Sun is parallel my Venus though. But the orb of his Sun to my Venus for the conjunction would be 9°08, the aprallel is not unbearably close but well under one degree, and in fact his Venus is precisely semisextile my Sun (one minute of orb) and parallel my Sun as well.

But yeah, I AM tempted. But then I probably should count Jude`s Venus conjunct my Mars as well (7-8 degrees), especially since it is
my Mars conjunct his Neptune (1) -
his Neptune conjunct my ASC (0) -
my ASC conjunct his ASC (2) -
his ASC conjunct my NN and Neptune (0) -
my NN and Neptune conjunct his Venus (3). lol

yeah, and in this case it is even parallel by only 9 minutes of orb.
I am actually torn if I should count it or not, on the other hand well, my Mars as well as my ASC are conjunct his Venus/Mars-mp by under one degree orb.
Slowly I wonder, how many more of these indicators do I need until I finally get it?

You know when it comes to his and my astrology, I sometimes have an image out of a cartoon in my mind, describing my unwillingness to even mentally "go there, accept it".
