Wait...his ASC falls in your interception, while your MC falls in his! That's major, I think. I call this "interception triggering". To me, interception is a major lesson in one's chart, it's a part of our true, inner nature that we need to bring to light. Often, the environment didn't encourage it in us, and it grows and it grows inside us, like a hidden treasure, but it's always meant to come to light when it is "ripe". Intercepted people almost always have a major crisis or transformation in life when they bring their interception into the world, in full bloom. When someone else activates your interception, with planets and especially with proactive angles like ASC and MC, tha person might have an important impact on your life: it doesn't necessarily mean that he triggers your interception for you, but his/her coming into your life coincides with your interception triggering by several factors/circumstances or simply the arrival of the right time, also it means this person is ready to accept you as you are, the new you, the full you. He will encourage you to bring this part of yourself to life, to become a full, accomplished individual.
In fact, I wouldn't even consider a soulmate for someone with interception without having something there to trigger it, one way or the other.
Lovely DW for you! especially since they are both proactive angles, it's the same with us, but from his side with planets, and I'm definitely feeling my hidden Aquarius/Leo with him. It's as if he likes this part of me more than anything, and he encourages this part of me every time! While I love his hidden, in need of coming out Capricorn/Cancer side, which is my ASC/DSC, the "mask" for my interception, what I already master very well.

I can see the logic behind it, definitely. However, Jupiter is intercepted in Pisces in 3rd house, and it never was really a very hidden planet for me. Jupitr in Pisces is quite obvious in my prsonality, the ruler Neptune sits on the ASC, too. and Jupiter rules my whole chart.
As for my childhood, well my parents encouraged intellectual things quite much, reading, theatre and the likes. however where I see it being spot on is, that they could not really do much with my tendency to go overboard with the fantasies, with my spiritual tendencies, also my escapist tendencies, so it is partly right, in my case.
But then again I might be a special case with the mutual reception of Jupier and Neptune, and Neptune being ON the ASC and becoming a very strong part of my personality.
In his case it is interesting, cause he has Libra intercepted in 7th house (and I have my seondary 7th house intercepted, interesting), and its ruler Venus becomes so focal through the midpoint-axis to Juno.
Actually the ruler of his intercepted 7th house is exactly semisquare the ruler of my intercepted secondary 7th house, and semisquares my intercetped ASC-ruler exact as well.

I have 5th and 6th cusp in Taurus, VEnus-ruled (additionally Venus rules MC)
and 11th and 12th cusp in Scorpio, Pluto-ruled
(as if I needed any More VEnus-Pluto-symbolism).
For Him it is:
3rd and 4th in Gemini, Mercury-ruled
9th and 10th in Sagittarius, Jupiter-ruled
interestingly tehy are in harmonic synastric aspect.
my Pluto sextiles his Mercury exact
my Venus trines his Jupiter by 4 degrees
Also I just notice, while Venus is ruling his intercepted 7th house, it is ruling my duplicated ones (though his s LIbra, mine is Taurus).
He also has 8th house ruler, Pluto, intercepted in 7th house.
Pluto rules my duplicated 11th and 12th house (and the ruler of his intercepted 7th house is in his 11th house. lol)
I have ASC-ruler Jupiter intercepted in 3rd house;
Jupiter rules his duplicated 9th and 10th house.
So for both of us the intercepted planet (Jupiter and Pluto) is actually ruler of duplicated houses for the other one. Interesting, isn`t it?

This reinforces the interception triggering IMO
Following your example, I've just realized how important it is to check the connections with the intercepted rulers (co-rulers) and intercepted planets. They should play a big role in a synastry involving interception. And those of the duplicated houses, obviously. I will look at my own examples a bit later.

But what I really liked there were the examples. What better examples for an interception brought to light than Oprah, Cher and Ayn Rand! Oprah becoming a real Capricorn/Cancer for the world, and her evolution to that. It speaks about a lifetime progression towards interception integration, with possibly major critical and fateful moments. And Cher activating all her Scorpio energy, actually after freeing herself from Sonny. And Ayn Rand becoming a philosopher by the expansion of her interception over the years.
About your own interception, Ceri... I was thinking, yes, with your mutual reception and Jupiter as chart ruler, you probably can't say your intercepted planet has been inactive all this time, for Patrick to activate it. But then there must be something else related to Pisces specifically or that house that he could trigger in you (or anyone else "working" on your interception). And I look there and I see...Juno! What do you think?
BTW, I love how his Venus is subtly active and underlying your other charts, and those midpoints with Venus, pointing to unexpected love, like an intercepted Venus, since we are on interceptions.
