It's still a bit of a mystery to me exactly who is attracted to who when it comes to Asc aspects. Does it depend of the planet/asteroid?

Based on these aspects am I more attracted to my crush or is he secretly more attracted to me?

His Jupiter squares my Asc
His Eros opposites my Asc
His Venus/Pluto opposites my Asc

every astro. book i've come across has referred to angles as receptive, meaning they can receive the energies of planets that touch them but don't give anything out. by that definition it'd be the planet person who feels things closest to angles, and the angle person reciprocating if they want; i guess the angle person would have a bit of the upper hand

though I have read that, too, I am not so sure about the IC and DESC, especially the IC seems to be very sensitive to whatever it touches. Mine is at least.

i think that is what i stated? but since angles are receptive only they can't actually 'give back' - it can receive the energy or not. so that would indicate the planet person is the one who actually feels the *most* as the angle person can choose to take/leave that energy. no?

I am attracted to Pisces ascendants I have noticed over time given my Pisces sun, but that could be do to wanting to find someone who is an empathic water person as well, my mars in cancer probably plays a role here as well.

I have found that people with personal planets in the sign of any of my angles seem drawn to me. Somewhat difficult to shake them off once they "bite" too. LOL

Libra/Cap/Aries/Cancer.

Especially Sun or Moon.
Just my personal experience.

Mostly Libra suns (my Asc)
Cap Moon seems kind of frequent
Cancer Sun

Not much going on with Aries TOO much but a little.

I ended up with a four placement Libra with 3 conjunct Asc and Jupiter in Virgo conjunct as well.
My Pluto is Libra conjunct Asc so I kind of give it back.

I would say that generally the angle person is more receptive but Eros aspects are usually receptive both ways.

For me it is kinda weird, my Moon and Ascendant are in the same degree, as is my Ceres. All at 1 Scorpio.
