More or less. Not by "converting" but by presenting your opinions and making them think. I guess Pluto, Uranus and the 2nd house would be involved? The Vertex axis with Uranus or Pluto?

I'm not sure the Vertex plays a role in this, but it is possible. A profound change of the value system is either progressive, and needs time and possibly several stages/events/people or it could, less often, the result of a shocking event/encounter that acts like a revelation.

So I guess Uranus and Pluto involved with the 2nd house and the 2nd house ruler are definitely involved - Uranus with a shocking value (perhaps) and Pluto for the long, progressive transformation.

I have a personal interest in the topic because he has Uranus in his 2nd, actually it's on the cusp, which IMO enhances the shocking aspect of Uranus there (planets on cusps have an Uranian flavor, they scream "event"). This can mean two things:

- a sudden, unexpected change in financial/property matters etc.
- a possible change of the value system, most likely unexpectedly as well.

2nd house ruler is Venus, so it's hard to say, since Venus rules both values and money. Uranus rules the 5th, and Venus/Uranus are in mutual reception.

But I think it's safe to say someone triggering Uranus there (directly as conjunction) or maybe a more complex configuration with Uranus and Venus would bring these changes or facilitate them.

Usually Uranus is a place in the chart (its house) where we are most likely to experience at least one unexpected change/event in this life.

Are you in a pessimistic mood, Cappy? I think this only happens in Count of Monte Cristo.

I can't say that I set out to 'change his value system'; but I CAN say that it needed it. I know -- that's a terribly pretentious thing to say. Over time, it became clear, though: it was the one most outstanding piece of our karma -- that which had wounded me deeply,
and saddled us with the sort of karma which has mired him in existential misery, and created a giant waving red-flag for me that screamed: FIX THIS NOW.

So. That brings us to the crux of the issue: WHAT needs to be fixed?

Before we ask what went wrong, we should have an understanding of HOW it's affecting us NOW.

For us, it was the immediate, glaring presence of a 9H, 2H, and 8H theme. We were dealing with values, principles, and transformative experiences.

His 9H is naturally packed: JUPITER, VENUS, KARMA, JUNO, PSYCHE, PLUTO and URANUS. Wow. Someone's got some karma to clear there!

My 9H is mostly empty; just CHIRON. (But, oh, how that CHIRON is aspected by his chart -- which we'll look at in a moment.)

My 2H (possessions, personal values, and relationships with special karma) is prominent: my SUN, PLUTO, and BML, with DEJANIRA and KARMA.

His 2H? Nada.

Let's look at the 8H.

His has SUN, MERC, VERTEX, DEJANIRA and PALLAS.

Mine has PRIAPUS and PALLAS. (Trust me on that.)

It's a combination of the three which create the theme; this interplay of 2H, 9H, and 8H: values, principles, evolution, and transformation.

We'll discuss how and why after my flight back to LaLaLand.

lol about the natural state

I mean some very tragic events could turn you that bitter so as to change your value system for worse.

Well, when it comes to PM, he hasn't exactly had a happy life (that's his doing too, he's not a victim). After darkness, shouldn't there be some light?

Light comes from within us, we can always shine for ourselves. PM will come to his own power, but first he must be purged, by his will of course .

Just a thought, I've read that jupiter can represent our morality, value system, ethics... so would changing/affecting someone's value system involve having a lot of jupiter contacts in synastry?

Good thought. JUPITER is involved, but that won't be the lynchpin. It's more of a complex theme. 9H is definitely featuring, however.

In fact, the fact that his JUPITER (chartruler) is in 8H in Placidus and 9H in Koch is extremely meaningful. To an extent, a great deal of his identity is driven by and rooted in his chosen principles. It has also been crucial they change. Transform.

Hence the involvement of both the 8H and 9H.

My Taurus (TF?)person....told me and continues to tell me how much I've changed his life n thinking, he says he's not the same person at all.
One example is he was a devoted Atheist, he's not anymore...he doesn't know what God is but he believes there is a creating force that has love for us.
There's many things beyond that but I thought that was big because I think this aspect....might explain it.

My Neptune saggy@11.15
His NN pisces@10.25<~his 2nd house
My Atropos gemini@10.35

This aspects his Saturn taurus@11.00
His IC taurus@10
His AC cap@13.13
My Juno virgo@12 in 12th/his 8th
My Hera taurus@12 in my 8th/his 4th

His Saturn makes an exact Yod with my Neptune and Pluto
His Uranus is on my AC/Pluto in his 8th but only a degree or 2 from 9th house cusp.

His scorp Jupiter is on my scorp Uranus in my 2nd house but too far to aspect these....

His Moon and Neptune conjunct my Sun and Merc in my 2nd house.
