This doesn't sound right to me.

I say if you want to reconnect with him, you should first find out as much as possible about him: if he wasn't involved when you were together, and if he really is free now. Being in the same town helps. Long-distance relationships are always hard to check.

If he was and is free (for real and after a thorough check), you can try and reconnect with him, sure.

There are a few astrological markers (Lilith in comp and synastry and natals, his natal placements, especially those involving Neptune and Vesta, his huge interception, some aspects with Juno, Sun conjunct Neptune etc.) - but I repeat, it's just a POSSIBILITY - those things could mean other things as well - the idea is not to poison ilunatique's mind with doubt or suspicion, but it's worth a more thorough CHECK. And I confess I found there was something off with the letter, at least for me, a feeling, of course I could be way wrong. What he said and did with dating another girl after they confessed their love for each other is plain wrong IMO, though. After all, he wasn't a teen to pull such a stunt

Still I want to tell you once more, for my own conscience: I believe that dating another woman to prove to yourself you're in love with someone is VERY wrong: it's dishonest to both - so the other woman was what?? used? On the other hand, no one needs to date someone else to know he's in love - it's not like you can check apples with pears.

That's why I said be careful, maybe check him, there's nothing wrong with that.

Apart from this, your charts are very connective and they point to an important relationship, one way or the other.
