I just recalled a weird dream of last night.
In that dream it was strongly suggested to me to compare the house-charts for synastric matters.

In fact whoever suggested that to me that comparing planetary synastry on the basis of sign-background is nice and good, describing how the general energies "mesh" (or don`t). However since we are living on earth, and are part of the physical sphere, the houselevel MUST be given thorough examination, for only then we can even begin to approach a judgment how or if a relationship might manifest.

What it meant was checking for the house-degrees, as in the Huber charts (but the voic e was rather insistent about checking it with Placidus. lol). the comparison would show if two people are even moving or interested in the same "space" or "sphere (of interest)".
If both had planets on similar housedegrees in the 6th house for example, that wiould be a place where they could meet (and hwo that meeting would be, would be told by the planets and the signbackground - but there had to be some touching-points on the houselevel to even provide an OPPORTUNITY to meet and connect and unite in the "real world").

- this sounds a lot like the Huber charts method i find-

WEird stuff to dream about. lol

My house-degrees would be like that

Sun: 16° 1st house (26 Sagittarius)
Moon: 23° 2nd house (17 Aquarius)
Mercury: 15° 1st house (25 Sagittarius)
Venus: 24° 1st house
Mars: 26° 12th house
Jupiter: 11° 3rd house
Saturn: 3° 8th house
Uranus: 29° 10th house )
Neptune: 2° 1st house (
Pluto: 4° 10th houe
Node: 2° 1st house (

Vertex: 6° 8th house
Union: 28°10th house
Alma: 2° 4th house
Amor: 20° 12th house
Valentine: 12° 12th house
Eros: 5° 8th house
Psyche: 28° 2nd house
Juno: 15° 3rd house
Ceres: 10° 3rd house

The freaky thing is, that my housechart seems to reflect my Draconic chart quite a bit!
If you relate the 1st house to Aries, 2nde to Taurus etc.

Draco Sun: 16 Aries
Draco Mercury: 15 Aries
Draco Venus: 25 Aries
Draco Mars: 25 Pisces
Draco Saturn: 6 Scorpio
Draco Neptune: 30 Pisces/ 00 Aries
Draco Vertex: 10 Scorpio
Draco Eros: 10 Scorpio
Draco Amor: 20 Pisces
Draco Valentine: 17 Pisces

lol who knows? maybe you're on the verge of a major discovery, Ceri

I've never explored the Huber method in depth, but I'm curious about how the house chart could be translated to Placidus.

What is that "meeting in the houses" here?

And I assume you use equal houses for this. ???

So then just paying close attention to the cusps and what hits the cusps directly?

I always pay very close attention to any declination involving a cusp. Those always show a LOT.

no, no, no, that is not what was meant.

Pick the Huber house chart drawing style on astro.com.
You have to chane the housesystem to Placidus though.

Then check the tables, and there you will find a column with the house-degrees.

This shows you on which degree your planet is placed in the house it is in. That is what I did.

Not my discovery I fear, just subconsciously must have remembered the Huber click charts. lol

Oh, I see, thanks for that...Now the idea is to check if the other has planets around the same house degrees, in his own houses, right? And if he does, no escape for him

Let's see if I got this:

My Moon in my 7th house degree 23
His Chiron in his 7th house degree 20

started with a left foot apparently, with Moon and Chiron

yes that would be a touch-point, Moon-Chiron on the ground of 7th house (I suppose the signbackgrounds would be interesting to check as to HOW you are healing or hurting each other emotionally).

However, great vulnerability and emotional attraction with Moon-Chiron, but a little complicated I suppose

In my synastry something about Pluto crops up.

His Pluto on 16° 7th house (opposite)
my Sun on 16 1st house

my Pluto on 4° 10th house (conjunct)
his Moon on 1° 10th house

As for the signbackgrounds, his Pluto in Libra and my Sun in Sagittarius do not "hurt" each other; coincidentally my Pluto is in Libra and his Moon in Sagittarius, too.

In fact now that I think about it.

The houselevel of my Pluto conjunct his Moon, and his Pluto opposite my Sun, aligns/ connects with his Moon conjunct my Sun on the sign-level.

to summarize

my Pluto: 9 Libra - 4° 10th house
my Sun: 26 Sag - 16° 1st house

his Pluto: 21 Libra - 16° 7th house
his Moon: 28 Sag - 1° 10th house

So the interconnection is actually tied to the cardinal houses, and in case of my Pluto and his MOon they are actually angular (I wuold allow a 5 degree orb for conjunctions to the angles to make them REALLY prominent, I tend to allow less with intermediate cusps, but maybe I am wrong about it).

Moon-Pluto in terms of 10th house, I suppose both of us could leave a major imprint in our environment, him more in terms of his SAg-style, me, it might be laced with some Libra-qualities.

Pluto is very transformative in your connections, I think.

What do you mean by signbackgrounds?

These are our connections:

My Sun in 8th, he has no 8th house placements.

His Sun in 6th 23°
His Karma in 6th 25°
My Saturn in 6th 26°

so my Saturn conjuncts his Sun (we do have Sun/Saturn DW in synastry) and his Karma

My Moon conjuncts his Chiron then.

His Moon in 2nd 19°
My Juno/Jupiter in 2nd 14°

so my Juno/Jupiter conjuncts his Moon (and....we have Moon/Jupiter DW in synastry)

My Venus in 8th 10°
His Amor in 8th 12°

Venus conjunct Amor

His Venus in 5th 7°
My Eros in 5th 0°

I guess that's a bit too wide?? Or does it still count, being in the same house? I would count it lol

His Mars in 9th 10° - here I have several placements - in my 9th: my Mercury 4°, Uranus 14°, Valentine 12°

So Mars conjunct Mercury
Mars conjunct Uranus
Mars conjunct Valentine (we have Mars conjunct Valentine in sign synastry too, and Mercury/Mars DW)

Other contacts:
NN conjunct Chiron in the 3rd
NN conjunct Priapus in 11th
Lilith conjunct Vesta in 1st
Pallas conjunct Valentine in the 1st
Alma conjunct Neptune in the 3rd
Psyche conjunct Pluto and Vesta in the 1st

Cupido conjunct Cupido in the 7th - I like that

My Karma conjunct his Juno/Eros/Ceres in the 5th

His Saturn conjunct my Vesta in the 9th

Chiron conjunct Neptune in 3rd

Are these significant?

I very much liked those that already have aspects between them in synastry, especially DW.

With Moon/Chiron, we both have Moon/Chiron in our natals, but not in synastry.

What would be the signbackground of my Moon and his Chiron, for example?

Actually, I lied ...well, forgot about it. My Moon trines his Chiron (3) in synastry. Is this the signbackground?

Hey, cool dream. I had a dream like this at least once. I dove into these charts and I found connections like:

Moon in the 12th opposite Vertex in the 6th
Saturn and Jupiter in the 10th opposite Mercury in the 4th

------------------
I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Yes, signbackground would be in which sign it falls.
In your case the Moon-Chiron-theme might manifest strongly (on 7th house), but will do so qutie harmoniously. In a way it is very strong though, as you have it on both levels.

Basically, the strongest connections are those which are backed up by synastric aspects, if I understand correctly.

What did you mean by Sun/Pluto not hurting each other with Mr. Sag? Because of complementary signs?

So, you basically have Moon conjunct Pluto there. Is this connection repeated somewhere else between you?

I also noticed you used oppositions too, so the same house axis (opposing houses) could be taken into account too, as I can see.

Considering the house axis, I found something more sigificant:

My Sun 19°46'23" 8th house
His Moon 19°35'29" 2nd house

My Moon 23° 7th
His Uranus 27° 1st

His Venus 7° 5th
My Neptune 3° 11th

We have aspects between all of these pairs in synastry: Sun/Moon DW, Moon/Uranus quintile, Venus/Neptune DW

My Juno 13° 2nd
His Amor 13° 8th

My NN 13° 11th
His Juno 14° 5th
