Ive only had 12th house synastry a few times, but every relationship was abusive, they pretended to be someone else, meanwhile doing things that really upset me calling me names ect. Or they just destroyed my soul, and left me feeling I can't move on/forget them. I think 12th house synastry can go either really good, or really bad, I don't think there's an unbetween with this house. Either way, I don't want anyone in my 12th, it's my life, destiny, soul, the essence of me, I don't want that messed around with. What do you think? IP: Logged |

Could be. Do you, or did they have 12th natally? It can be a handful for those who don't live with it everyday. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in 12th, it's messed up, every time someone's planet touches my Jupiter it's like get out! Or if your intentions are good, get in!

Resonates. It can work beautifully though. (points at DF and Barbs) In friendship with enough supportive aspects it can work well, as well. BUT it can definitely become ugly very quickly if one or both people have a, err... "tumultuous" unconscious... Like, lots of issues, you see? Then yeah, that can be really bad. Especially if Saturn and/or Pluto are prominent natally or in synastry (and perhaps even composite). IP: Logged |

I agree that 12th house synastry/natals is an extreme configuration...no in-betweens.IP: Logged |

Hmm... Well, this is my crazy theory. It depends what Jupiter is doing, etc. There's a lot to consider. Anyway, maybe this person's planet(s) touch your Jupiter Your Jupiter expands it, therefore expands your 12th and it's overwhelming. Plus, I think you touched on this. It can be a curse or a gift, which, I think we can be in control of.... If we figure out how. It contains hidden enemies for one... But hidden talents. I'd study the crap out of your Jupiter by sign and aspect...and 12th. Light up the house with knowledge so that be it enemy or gift, you'll recognize it sooner. Hope that makes sense. IP: Logged |

Yep. Absolutely. What are the aspects of your Jupiter? What does Jupiter rule? Maybe a planet on your Jupiter triggers some unsavory contacts in your natal or the other's.

I think it definitely depends on how much action your 12th house has in your natal chart, which will signify whether or not you're used to that type of intensity. I think 12th house synastry is very intense, because it's all about what's hidden and unknown, so I like to see it as the other person in question is bringing out sides to you and deeper, hidden things that you didn't know existed. My best friend's sun and venus fall in my 12th house and our friendship is anything but abusive. My ex's Venus fell in my 12th house and it wasn't really abusive on his part.. He brought out darker, jealous, slightly-verbally abusive, spiteful sides to me that I never knew existed. I became a very dark person when I dated him.. I believe that was the 12th house action acting up. I personally don't mind it; in fact, I would love for someone's Mercury to fall in my 12th house because I know our conversations would be off the charts (I have 12th house mercury in my natal). My 12th house is my most dominant house, so I'm very used to that energy. IP: Logged |

It's only ever been really bad for me. They have a hold on me and just when I think I can finally move on they pop back into my life. No matter how they've wronged me I just can't ignore them or shut them out for good without feeling guilty myself.IP: Logged |

That's because you are not doing something. Its a karmic placement, you have to take action. Or maybe it's not as bad as you make it seem. IDK your situation so i cant be too sure

I said this in one of my posts. Most people are not mature enough yet to deal with these placements. 12th house synastry is great when you finally realize that you have to learn to let go. It's never easy, but that's the lesson.I love Venus in the 12th house synastry and composite. It changed my life in a way no other planet touching my 12th house can Venus is exalted in 12th. So be prepared to learn what love is all about IP: Logged |

No! Goodness, no. Where did you hear / read / see that?12H energy forces you to confront the deepest, darkest corners of your psyche, where few are courageous enough to tread. But the rewards for those who do can be numerous. IP: Logged |

12th house Venus is also a place of unconditional, ultimate love (Piscean). In its best form, it is considered a soulmate aspect. The last sign of the zodiac is connected to anything final, including final love and Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, that love. So 12th house Venus is a Neptunian Venus, it is in fact, Neptune. But in order to get to the ultimately positive meaning of Neptune, one has to overcome its fog, swim its darkest waters, be an evolved spirit, I guess.IP: Logged |

My son has Venus, Mercury and Mars in 12th with Mars on Asc. His girlfriend has Mars and Venus in 12th and both appear to be happy people, with a charming, easy relationship. Tortured souls they are not, whilst they may have heaps to learn about their own psyche. Who doesn't! I had also heard that Mars in 12th indicates difficulties with manifesting one's plans or dreams - again not true for either. He, in particular, is appreciated for his organisational and leadership qualities in his place of work even at this young age. Basically, the 12th house seems to be a lucky house for them. Or it is all due to his upbringing . Edit: The Draconic synastry shows close aspects between Moon/Venus, Venus/Mars, Venus/Pluto/Destinn, so the 12th house for them is more indicative of karmic links. IP: Logged |

I agree completely! 12th house synastry is the way to go in my book. Unlike anything you'll ever experience. Soul quenching, complete satisfaction especially when the moon is involved. Definitely a ''meant to be'' aspect in my opinion. My Jupiter is in his 12th and we've never even screamed at each other. Maybe there's more to the picture than you think, something explosive. I was told about an interesting aspect of the 12th house synastry: the couple may keep secrets from others, but they are likely to be unhappy about it. Like a relationship under wraps. Why don't you want your family to meet me? Why do you never invite me to hang out with your friends? IP: Logged |

Unless both have it natally.(?) We don't have it quite like that but a little. Thing is we're just on the same page and in complete understanding about it Otherwise.... I could see that.

Yes, I think it depends on the natal charts as well. Like if someone's natal Venus is in the 12th house, they might find it romantic. I forgot whose synastry it was, but I saw a celebrity couple's synastry here in which her Sun fell into his 12th House, and it seemed he used to deny their relationship in public for a long time. Never liked moon in my 12th house. It's annoying lol. Venus in the 12th feels the best imo IP: Logged |
