Before we go further, I'd like to see your natals as well. While it will often show immediately in the composite, (and a large stellium in 7H is definitely a strong indication if other factors are present) the 'lock' is when the natals are both showing a 'Twin Flame soul mission', so to speak.

Ah, yes, as I suspected.

He has a tight conjunction of ISIS and OSIRIS; this indicates a great likelihood he will either find and Reunite with his Twin Flame, if that is his mission, or a high-level soulmate with whom he is to clear karma and reestablish a powerful soul bond.

His chartruler is also NEPTUNE and 1° conjunct ANGEL. Definitely a spiritual lifetime and purpose.

Interestingly enough, he does not have the aspect / configuration which shows a Twin Flame soul mission, specifically. Spiritual, yes, and most definitely with a very evolved soulmate. His DSC ruler, MERC is conjunct EROS by 1°; NEPTUNE is high in the chart (conjunct MC) with a 1° opposition from PSYCHE to VENUS and DESTINN in 9H.

And, right off the bat -- AMOR conjunct KARMA (something you're here to learn) and ALMA conjunct DESTINN -- and DESTINN-SUN, which I would expect in soulmates.

And it's his CHIRON that's conjunct your ISIS-SNODE. Yes, he was wounded deeply when a commitment failed between you. I think his conjunction of ISIS and OSIRIS in his natal shows that he was determined to resolve that now.

It's interesting how your CHIRON is near to, but not conjunct, his natal ISIS-OSIRIS. Just enough of an indicator, I think, to show the mutual wounding that resulted from this.
