I'm getting confused by the aspects showing in astrodienst. I have 5 degrees trine and square in synastry and it didn't show them, meanwhile an 9 degrees trine is showed in the Composite. Why so different? I thought an orb of 5 is decent for trine and square in synastry or am I mistaken???

Astro does not always show all that it should. For example, in my synastry i have his Moon conjunct my NN by 3,5 degrees and it doesn't show that conjunction! I guess the reason might be that the signs are not the same (his Moon is only 15 minutes short of entering into Aquarius, and my NN is 3'21 Aquarius).

There is something weird with their use of orbs with nodes, indeed. For example, it does not show a square aspect of nodal axes in synastry, and pretty exact one too.

And in another ones they show even a 5 degree Jupiter conjunction with SN. Go figure.

Sometimes they don't show sextiles or oppositions either and they don't show out-of-sign aspects. They must have an explanation of their orbs and shown aspects somewhere on the website.
