What makes that? Imagine two people who have some kind of relationship. (from my side there are feelings, from his.. i don't know. We are really good friends). But lately i have a feeling that he always wants to teach me how to live, tell me what should i do, how should i do it, why shouldn't i date guys i've been dating, why i shouldn't be vegetarian, etc. It starts to annoy me because he is obviously not my father or husband to do that. He does not do that with his other friends, so it must be in our synastry. Sometimes it feels that he idealizes me and when i do something out of that bubble of imagination that he has, he wants to teach me what to do to be appropriate for his illusion of me. Sometimes it is ok and i don't complain for his help or advice when i actually need it, but not in all situations. I am not an ideal after all, i am just me - with all my flaws and what matters the most - with my own opinion, which doesn't always have to be the same as his!!!

He has no problem with others doing the things he don't like or having opinions opposite than his. When it is me, i feel like he is trying to teach to not be that way. I've asked him.. he said that i matter to him much, that is why he wants the best for me. Jeez, i could explode. That led to our first fight, btw. Not a fight literally, of course, but figuratively speaking.

What could cause that? The first idea is - Neptune. But his Neptune is hardly involved in our synastry. Mine, however, conjuncts his Jupiter exactly, and this conjunction is exactly conjunct our composite Sun. Could it be this? Or what other aspects could you name for that kind of thing that i described?

Saturn conjunct Sun from My experience. His saturn conjuncts your sun. Do you have that?

No, but his Saturn squares my Moon. Has he taken on a role of my father?

is he a virgo? or do you have planets in his 6th house? what about his moon/mercury placements? it's maybe his way to show you that he cares.

edit: if he can't stop this non-stop criticizing, I would spend less time with him, but that's just me ^^

Leo saturn can act this way, could also be ingrained in him from childhood with one parent doing the same to the other and he developed that himself early on in life without knowing it.
