Hi again!
This is just a little question which my friend asked me and I wanted to get some extra opinions because I'm just a beginner when it comes to synastry.

There is this guy she really likes. His Moon is in Aries and his Venus is in Scorpio.
Which means he is attracted to Scorpio traits in a woman romantically, but in a long term relationship he'll also want to see some Aries traits, right?

My friend is a Sun Scorpio with extra Scorpio in her placements. No problem here, she's got Scorpio coming outta her ears. But she has absolutely zero Aries in her chart. However, with so much Scorpio and a strong, well-aspected Mars (in Leo), will there be enough Mars influence in her chart for him anyway? Considering that both Aries and Scorpio are ruled by Mars?

The basic synastry worked pretty traditionally for her, attraction-wise: her Mars is in Leo, her Sun is in Scorpio, and the guy she's so attracted to has Leo Sun, Aries Moon, Leo Mars, Scorpio Venus. Classic. She fell for his double Leo and general abundance of Fire, and he also has a personal placement similar to her Sun sign.

So looking at it from the guy's point of view, he has a pretty nice chance to fall in love with her Scorpio traits, but um... nothing to support his Moon... apart from the general Mars-ness of the chart.

the venus usually shows what a guy finds physically attractive and the moon is what *he* needs from a partner, not necessarily what the woman has to offer. so, yeah, he'd be looking for someone to compliment that aries moon, perhaps with an aries placement herself, or maybe someone with some conjunctions to their sun/mars which could produce aries-like traits. but your friend has a sun-mars connection with the guy in a fire sign of leo, along with the sun-venus, so they likely have enough there to support something even in the absence of connections to his moon. when you have connections elsewhere through the chart then one specific connection matters less. you have to look at the whole picture.

Thank you!

I wonder if the angles are also important. I looked at a synastry of a happily married couple recently and the only significant Moon aspect for the guy is his Moon in a tight trine to her Midheaven (MC).
