Hello!

It's just synastry with a new male friend. I'm just looking for things that jump out to anyone, and wanna get their thoughts. I'm on the inside.

Your both 1st house suns. You each put your sun the the others 7th (or close to the DC) you share mars in Libra. You probably share very similar approaches to how you go after what you want in life.

Planets are not aspected mutually. Many planets receive no aspects.

it doesn't look romantic. the first thing is the opposite ASC/DSC angles. that is not a good aspect for romance and usually doesn't even lead to close friendship either, so enjoy it while it lasts. you have mercury signs (communication) in bad position, but the cap moon/merury might offset some of that. and the moon signs imo are the least compatible of any zodiac match - leo/cap are both dominant signs and one is very warm and loving while the other is rather cold and not good with feelings, they are not natural partners and since the leo moon isn't conjunct to any other partner sign that'll be a huge romantic problem if it ever went that way. you do have some nice house overlays though, with the sun on the DSC, the angles are conjunct with a node on the DSC as well, so this is probably a growth/learning relationship of some sort.
