What are your experiences with Sun conjunct Venus and has anyone had this DW before? Despite inappropriate circumstances is it even possible to not be mutually attracted with this going on?I recently met an Aqua sun, Cap venus- conj my sun by 1 degree, his sun-merc conjunct my venus, and it was just one of those things where your eyes lock and you know there's something there... (which I know sounds ridiculous- Saturn transiting my 5th has made me pretty jaded to romance but I at least can tell this runs deeper than just a typical brief infatuation lol) However... acting on the attraction isnt possible, we only met because he's actually dating one of my new roommates- she's a Sag sun-merc-venus and a genuinely awesome person. Soooo I would never cross that line and don't think he would either. But we all went out together in a group for food/drinks and I think she could sense the connection and I felt guilty for even feeling that way and uncomfortable attempting to be social with everyone-including him obviously without things getting weird. Anyway sorry this is more of a rant than anything but I am curious to hear experiences/thoughts on this aspect.. IP: Logged |

I have this aspect. This is the kind of configuration where you just can't help but like someone. They instantly brighten your day and make you smile unexpectedly.SUN conj VENUS 0° VENUS conj SUN 4° Both are also parallel. If you're strongly attracted, try checking to see what MARS is up to. As you can see above, my MARS in being conjunct by MOON, JUPITER, and MARS. So that definitely has its own effect. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your response, and wow your synastry looks intense! How does that play out with Uranus and Pluto also being activated in the venus conjuncts? And what's going on in the composite? Anyway Mars conjunct moon and jupiter seems hot lolWith this guy his mars squares my venus and his jupiter is conjunct my mars so there's definitely attraction.. Here's the synastry, he's on the outside but his birth time is unknown so ignore the angles. I would add asteroids and everything but I shouldn't even be thinking about this really lol my life is ridiculous right now IP: Logged |

That Grand Trine with your MAR & SATURN and his MOON is a good recipe. It means you have a good handle on your passions, and can readily read his mood. The MARS and JUPITER aspects seem to be the cause of the friction you feel. You're wise to self-police, because your natal VENUS-JUPITER opp is like being in a car with no brakes - you're full steam ahead. As a Libra MOON myself, I can say he probably carefully considers his feelings. Especially considering his "steadfast" Capricorn VENUS love style, he isn't the type to endanger his present relationship, and will carefully navigate his friendship with you. If it becomes tough, one or both of you will likely step back to re-evaluate the situation. For me and my synastry, URANUS-VENUS is surprising, energetic, and spontaneous - refreshing and fun. It also manifests in unique and unexpected ways. URANUS is my chart ruler too, so I mesh well with Uranian energies. Expect the unexpected is the rule here. On the down side, Sagittarius VENUS is sometimes not serious or still enough for my "all or nothing" Scorpio VENUS, who sometimes needs some "down time" to relax. However, we've known each other for about 4 yrs, and haven't had a single fight - SUN-VENUS conj DW is very amiable in synastry. We just can't dislike or seriously upset each other. As for PLUTO, I keep a very tight orb since it moves so slowly. The orb here is 8°, which is really too wide in my opinion to count as a conjunction. There is a lot of MARS tension pent up, yes, but firstly the stellium is in conservative Capricorn, and it's square its ruler - my SATURN. My natal SATURN-JUPITER conjunction is like the "good guy cop", so while not necessarily stern or unfriendly, he still calls the shots, lol. Since I have natal SATURN square MARS, it really affects me more readily. Basically, the ball is out of my court until I hear otherwise - fighting my own SATURN restrictions is futile, at best. I've always considered MARS the "trouble child" of my natal, always butting heads with SATURN, lol (MARS even has a ridiculous conjunction to asteroid 128 NEMESIS 1°). But hey - tons of UST! Are you sure you want to see the composite? I think it's a bit of an unfair comparison, lol. The only comparable composite I've seen is Indigo and her TF. But since you asked, here it is anyway!

^Dammmn please tell me you're actually together with this person? That composite is too beautiful! Even with Chiron as a main player I'd think you could rise above to the magical/healing side of that... I've never known quite what to make of unaspected planets in the composite, so I'm really curious what it's like having unaspected mars, especially since you guys have so much mars synastry happening. And as you said your own natal Mars-Saturn is being highlighted too. So I'd love to hear the story if you'd want to share because yeah that is quite the composite! Also thanks for your interpretation and you're right about my venus-jupiter... it can be a bit much sometimes both from the people I attract and how I pursue when interested lol. Although tSaturn in my 5th shut down that party a while ago. It is decent synastry tho and you're also right about the grand trine. Just for the sake of it I'll post the composite, the shape is weirdly similar to my natal with mars and jupiter emphasized.. It'll never happen though, true about the Cap loyalty and practicality winning out, he has no reason to ruin what he has in that relationship, and I would never do that to a friend (even tho I haven't known her long either I can tell it'll probably be a long term friendship-her venus conjuncts my moon exact- which is kinda weird on it's own lol) Anyway thanks again, here's the chart without asteroids again.. They are not together, no. We're still trying to figure out if they're Twins or not, actually, because, well, of this: If everything were in the 1H, I think it might've been a lock. I like it across the 9H, though. Still, it's WAY too similar. Only other one I've EVER seen that's even remotely like it. And, alas, proof yet again, that astrology is merely potential. Free will, and blah, blah, blah. IP: Logged | |
