Her sun - 6 leo
His North Node- 29 cancer

Is this too wide to be considered an applicable synastry conjunction? Unsure what rules apply to luminaries.
Thank you!

I'm curious, would you widen the orb for a DW connection? Especially if it's in the same sign?

You can push it to 6º with the SUN. Out of sign, though ... there are reasons for that. But the expression is going to be different. Even if they were both middle LEO; but 29º CAN and early LEO -- almost 7º ... it's a bit wide.

I have an exact SUN on my NNODE, too. They're very clearly important in terms of the evolution of your identity.

So would a sun at 9 aqua and an Asc at 1 aqua not count either? Or because they're in the same sign it would help?
Thanks Indigo!

How would you interpret a Quindecile between Sun and N.Node?
His Sun quindeciles my N.Node 0°.
