I have noticed that certain points in the chart gather a conglomerate of asteroids.

For example, I have such a stellium in Gem in my 5th house, around my SN/Karma: Kaali, Ishtar, a bunch of Vedic etc. (I will list all of them).

My partner has almost all his Vedic asteroids grouped in a stellium in Taurus the 8th house.

He also has a similar conglomerate around his Mars.

I think this will give a strong activation of that house around that point and a theme (in my case, apparently a fated, incarnation theme, in his case, it seems to be a Tantric theme).

In synastry, apart form the direct contacts, it will emphasize the connections related to those houses/themes.

The same could happen in the composite, of course.

What are your themes and how are they activated in synastry?

I will get back with my examples

LeeLoo,

Strange that you should mention that your boyfriend has a Vedic theme in the the 8th in Gemini - well so does my SM (even though quite not my bf).

He has these in Gemini, 8th house:
Mahakala 6.34
Tara 10.17
Hanuman 11.31
Hara 11.52
Anand 20.18
Yeshuhua 22. (not Vedic, but along the same theme)
Ganesh 27.13

I am not sure the above should count as stellium though as they are a little scattered. He has another 5 closer together in Libra, 12th house.
Nada 15.39
Satie 16.14
Samadhi 21.11
Garuda 21.53
Kaali 22.33

I on the other hand, have 5 Vedic asteroids grouped within 2 degrees in Cap, 6th.
Ramachandran 21.14
Soma 21.32
Anand 22.15
Mahakala 22°21
Mahalingam 23.57

Could it be that since there are so many Vedic asteroids, it is bound to happen that one would find 4 or 5 within a single house and, therefore, only those grouped close together should count as a stellium - in this instance my Cap group would qualify and maybe his 12th house group.

Yes, it is interesting. I was wondering if these asteroids are part of the same sky cluster or are they scattered, astronomically?

They must be scattered since they don't form similar groups in my natal. I have noticed that in each house however, the two Vedic (if there are 2) asteroids are very close together usually within 2 degrees. But again these form different groups in different charts.

For example in my natal:
Tara 22°19 Leo
Krishan 23.19 Leo

(Only in my son's natal)
Shiva 7.55 Sco
Shankar 8.4 Sco

Whilst I have:
Sunanda 27.6 Virgo
Shankar 27°15 Virgo - a Siva/Parvati pair

(and again in his natal)
Mahakala 23.28 Gem
Rudra 24.21 Gem

My son has these grouped according to meaning which is astonishing - and not the same as my natal. The groupings according to meaning, as in different names of Siva, is seen often.

You mean the incarnations of Shiva grouped together?

Yes. But they are in different signs for different people. My son has them in 2 signs and I don't have them grouped similarly.

A very charming synastry conjunction: my Krishnan is conjunct my son's Balakrishnan (meaning child Krishnan)

Incidentally, Gabby has a very full 2nd house in Scorpio/Sag which she had posted elsewhere:
Samadhi - 8.27
Balakrishnan - 9.34
Krishnan – 11.15
Nada -17.31
Hara 17.38
Ramakrishna- 19.18
Anand – 23.02
Parana – 28.56
Mahalingam – 28.59
Parvati 0°59

She may look in and correct me if I am wrong.
