...as in you're not really sure what is keeping them together, or what enough was there to bring them together in the first place? Together 6 months so far. Man on the outside:

Is there any hope for these two?

Well, it's easy to see what them brought together: loose conj. of angles, sun venus conj. and some sexual aspects.

What's the problem between the 2 of them?

Communication is probably the biggest. It seems to run hot and cold. Moreso on the part of the man. Some days he is chatty as can be and others he is a brick wall. Frustrating for the woman as she is generally pretty consistent in her approach but feels stuck when he is unresponsive.

He has also been fairly elusive in not wanting to fully reveal his thoughts but with her patience he is slowly starting to turn this around as he realizes how this affects her.

Their physical connection is strong. Very cuddley, kissy and hands-on. Their intimate life is supposedly very hot as well. This area of their life is consistent.

The man has Sun in Cancer, Moon in Taurus, Venus in Gemini like me..
but with the Sun in Cancer and a prominent Moon while the Mars is detrimental, is he the less dominate one or gets bossed around by women?

I think he likes the "idea" of being bossed around by women, and I know he appreciates a strong woman, but he does get fairly assertive and stands his ground when he is challenged by someone - male or female - especially if it is something he is passionate about. From a sexual standpoint he is definitely the dominant one in practice. In fantasy, again, I think he likes the "idea" of having a woman dominate him. I know for a fact he harbours that fantasy of the "older woman" though and has played that fantasy out in the past.

I'm still so amazed at how you can look at a chart and determine those aspects, especially without the lines!

What about long-term romantically/emotionally?

they have a double whammy of moon in 8th house too. Feelings may run very deep.

I wouldn't say weak, but full of power trips and struggles. It'd be difficult nonetheless and take lots of patience and honesty, like every other relationship lol, but with more effort to make it work. Gemini and Cancer imo isn't the greatest but there are lots of them who make it work. Moon wise the opposite isn't good. Mars/Mercury opposite isn't good. That Moon/Neptune oppsite yikes! I don't see how it'd work out civilly. There may be feelings there that are potent but they'd run hot and cold. In regards to the 8th house double whammy there may be tension in the areas of that house.
