My sun/moon midpoint is 10 deg. Virgo 69 and my partner's is 21 deg. Gemini 12, but that's as far as I've gotten. Are there any websites that will generate a chart to show which aspects are made to either of our midpoints in synastry without having to manually figure it out? I'm not quite there yet IP: Logged |

Hi Margym0o :)I don't know any website that has that option but for my and my Scorp's midpoints, I was lucky enough to find one of my own asteroids that conjuncts my midpoint more or less exactly (0 degrees for my midpoint, 2 for his). You can try that way (even a planet/asteroid of partner A conjuncting partner B's midpoint will do : look at the natal chart of partner A for the aspects). Or if you want I can do it manually for you if it can save you some time. :)) Hope that helps ! :3 ------------------ « Car ensemble nous pourrons voir La beauté des âmes amoureuses Cachée comme diamants Dans l'horloge du monde... » IP: Logged |

I used to do mine manually...fun times. Here's a cheat that's actually really quick and easy but it's gotten out of use since we all use computers now: Print out your chart. Take a compass. Using basic elementary school geometry find the midpoints. Then from each midpoint, set the compass to each aspect/angle in turn, and see what it touches. Super easy. IP: Logged |

I love Astroblahhh when I'm feeling lazy. Astroblahhh.com Aspect Calculator But I can tell you right off; that's a binovile. I've got one between my ASC (10º VIR 43') and my husband's SUN (23º GEM). It doesn't have everything, so pay attention to the actual degrees and angles. It's pretty thorough, though. Wish he'd add quindecile! IP: Logged |

Indeed it is! I'm guessing it's of little significance since it's such a minor aspect? What about the aspects the midpoints make to other planets etc.? IP: Logged |

Binovile? Well, typically if it's 'bi' or 'tri', I'm pretty meh on it. But then again, I'm also '3º sextile? Pffffh,' these days. And semisextile? ... whatever. Really, I'd say dig into the actual symbolism of the aspects themselves. WHAT the novile represents. Here's a smattering; one site of which I'm rather fond. http://johnsandbach.com/?p=193 And AdZe's always put it in to plain English. Love that guy. http://www.adze.com/Classroom/aspects.html

For example, noviles can be 'related to marriage'. Which I found myself rather sceptical regarding -- but then it IS my husband's SUN with my ASC. Who knows?IP: Logged |

My BML (21 Sag) is 2 degrees conjunct my Sun-Moon MP (23 Sag), so I use that for looking at aspects that are going to hit the MP. IP: Logged |

I'm not familiar with midpoints so forgive my ignorance here. Aspects other than a conjunction can trigger a midpoint?IP: Logged |

I accept only hard aspects to midpoints (conjunctions, oppositions, squares) and with an orb of 3 degrees maximum. :) For Sun/Moon midpoints, I compare natal midpoints to natal suns and moons, and composite midpoint to natal suns and moons. I think when you have at least one of those with a tight orb, the relationship is significant. ♥️

Thank you. Do you only use Sun/Moon midpoints or do you consider others? IP: Logged |
