My Jupiter square his Pluto
His Jupiter opposite my Pluto

His Sun Conjunct my Pluto

His Venus square my Neptune

His Mars is my first house.

His Ceres and North Node conjunct my ascendant.

His Nessus and Lilith conjunct my North Node and Vertex.

I don't really think it's average.

I agree with you, those Pluto aspects are very strong and probably lead to obsession.
But I think what LeeLoo meant is that there aren't any Venus aspects really. There is that Venus square Neptune, but although it could seem magical at first, the Venus person (or in some cases, the Neptune person) is likely to be deceived by the other partner, by idealizing him, putting him on a pedestal and eventually expecting too much from him. I suppose it can be overcome with good romantic aspects, and if the person idealizing is mature enough to get a glimpse of reality, at least once in a while.

About the composite - you two have a really nice love stellium, although it is a bit wide. Sun conjunct Venus is very good in composite, and Mercury not far makes it even better. Be careful though - the love stellium is badly aspected by Neptune, Uranus and Mars.
Neptune here brings back the theme of too much idealization in the relationship. Uranus squares could bring frequent ups and downs in the relationship.
