Confused? Click here. 'Who are you?' said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, 'I — I hardly know, sir, just at present — at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'
'What do you mean by that?' said the Caterpillar sternly. 'Explain yourself!'
'I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir' said Alice, 'because I'm not myself, you see.'
'I don't see,' said the Caterpillar.
'I'm afraid I can't put it more clearly,' Alice replied very politely, 'for I can't understand it myself to begin with; and being so many different sizes in a day is very confusing.'
'It isn't,' said the Caterpillar.
'Well, perhaps you haven't found it so yet,' said Alice; 'but when you have to turn into a chrysalis — you will some day, you know — and then after that into a butterfly, I should think you'll feel it a little queer, won't you?'
'Not a bit,' said the Caterpillar.
'Well, perhaps your feelings may be different,' said Alice; 'all I know is, it would feel very queer to me.'
'You!' said the Caterpillar contemptuously. 'Who are you?'
Much like Dodgson's Caterpillar, I have seen a reinvention. A transformation. A -- regeneration -- if you will. I've been a great many things in my own caterpillar stage, but every fortunate caterpillar evolves to become a butterfly. Trick is, they don't do so without first eradicating who and what they once were. Inside the chrysalis, they become an amorphous material of pure potential. They are, as Og Mandino once wrote, a being becoming.
I did not choose Aubyanne; rather, some nigh 34 years ago, it was chosen for me.
But who am I?
I'm a great many things -- wearing snicker quite a few hats, having worn several identities over the course of my third-dimensional travels on this big blue ball.
I'm a writer, an actress, a therapist, a monster-hunter, a quantum theorist, a songstress, a justice-seeker, a healer and a helpmate.
Astrology is the language of my soul translated into physical form; a curious birthright and comfort food that nourishes my spirit. It's not a practise, but an identity all its own; I am of the race and credo in astro veritas. I am Astrologer. I can't help but find myself mixing, sharing, learning, teaching, collaborating.
IndigoDirae, like Aubigne Spratling, or Leigh Addleson, were the stages of my becoming. My caterpillar existence. I adhered to the earth, stayed close to the ground, occasionally elevated by the thoughtful trees -- fingers of Gaia -- sprung from the soil.
Now, I have slumbered. Now, I am culminating: now, I have emerged from that hard outer shell which keeps that-which-is-out -- out -- and all-that-is-me safely tucked within.
And now I am free.
I am Aubyanne; Twin Flame, creative professional, multiversal healer and transdimensional human becoming.
These are my wings. This is my first flight.
I'm very pleased to meet you.
