Hi--wondering if when you have a "bad" aspect like Moon square Moon--is it better (or more connecting) the fact you have it vs. not?IP: Logged |

Definitely. But it depends on each other's natal, each Moon "prefers" certain aspects.------------------

agree. at least the major luminaries are interacting. it's better than no aspect to either. not a great aspect, but better than none. IP: Logged |

Now that's an interesting theory. So, a heavily afflicted MOON, say, part of a T-Square would actually prefer hard aspects to it in synastry? It wouldn't just compound the issues represented by the afflicted natal MOON? For example, the woman with the dysfunctional upbringing seeks abusive men because 'they feel like home' and are repeating the familial psychodrama? IP: Logged |

The moment your moons are in different elements, they are naturally "squared" no matter what. So if you have a cancer moon for an example and your partner has an aries moon, they don't go well with each other, no matter if they are in the right degrees to form an aspect. IP: Logged |

The cross is one of the most binding configurations in synastry and it is made by 4 squares and two oppositions. Out of all crosses, the ones involving luminaries, Saturn, angles or love rulers are the most binding.------------------

It is definitely better than not having any aspects to/between the moon(s) in synastry. The moon is one of the most important personal planets to consider in both individual and partner astrology. It symbolizes our raw inner self: our emotions, feelings, and personal nature.Moon square moon suggests your "inner selves" clash: different ways of feeling yourselves, each other, and potentially the world. Of course, as with any hard aspect, this will bring challenges - but the square is interesting because it has a certain "educational" aspect to it. Squares make us grow, transform, and improve ourselves through time - if we are willing to do the work, that is. Depending on other aspects, if there is genuine and real love between two partners, then the square can eventually bring great rewards generated by the clash. Learning from the challenges, the two Moons can develop a deep understanding of one another, cultivating a tender and stable equilibrium. IP: Logged |
