I just started looking at the Davison chart with the person I'm dating. You all know I'm in over my head as I don't yet has the basics down... But since we were born on opposite sides of the world, the Davison just seemed to fit better than the regular composite. However, it is a bit strange at the same time. Venus/Sun/Mars conjunction (in that order) in Cancer in the 11th. We don't have Cancer placements in either of our charts. What do you think of this? And what if I add a square to the moon in Libra in the 2nd?

Hi, Lucie How are you? Cancer and the 11th house are a bit antagonistic as energy, but maybe this is a relationship with a lot of shared love and a bit of idealization, platonic and unconditional love, something the 11th and Cancer do share. There is warm side to the 11th house as well. It's not bad at all to have the archetype Venus/Mars united with the Sun in composite, it shows a close union of the male/female energies. It would be interesting to post the actual chart, since isolated aspects don't tell the whole story.------------------

Well, passion, Mir! And everything out in the open!I wonder if your Scorp Moon likes everything out in the open hehehe it could be refreshing for a Scorp Moon. Scorp Moons need upbeat people, don't you agree? With a dash of mystery, of course ------------------

Hiya LL. I'm good. Super busy in a very strangely non-efficient-totally-achieving-nothing sort of way! LOL. And winter is in the air already. Eeks. I KNEW you were going to say post the chart! Mir, I think I like yours in Aries better than mine in Cancer. Me no likely Cancer. It's so moody! Give me a second to work out this chart posting thing..... PS, should I do corrected or uncorrected? So many choices!

Well, mystery enough, he's a cap and I'm a leo hahaha.Lucie... I THINK... well, I RECALL (from the composite love-stellium parade by runaroundscreaming once here) that it's *GREAT* to have a square to the MOON from that stellium.. it was even (I thought) NECESSARY for it to be true love LOL! Well, that is good! The LL didn't love our synastry! LOL. But I've got a clearer idea of his birth time though than from when she saw it. He's a complicated boy I must say... Eek! quote: Originally posted by mir: To be very honest; I would prefer Cancer.. (without a doubt)

So RAS's theory is the square from the Moon should be to the stellium, not the Sun? ------------------

LOL! Well.... It's a composite. I'm less freaked out by "exposing" myself. But now is good. Before I need to run off and do more un-productive stuff..... Yikes! PS, I saw your thread on the Davison story just after I posted this. I'll go work on my story! I hope it's a good one.... I'm done with greek dramas! IP: Logged |

Oh, my, what a complicated chart...two interconnected Yods, linking houses 6th, 2nd and 4th, basically...you'd have to work hard on this one. I see a possible third party involved. Neptune on IC ruling the 8th....a bit extremist, it can get either very good or very bad...underneath the Leo ASC, there's a lot of water and unpredictable in this chart.------------------

A third party? Could it be his child? His child really is THE purpose of his life. And, yes. This is very complicated in many ways. Complicated I don't doubt. He is complicated to begin with. Will it be worth it? Isn't that always the underlying question? PS, Sadian Mars... How do our bodies meet? Dressed up as rabbits, apparently! LOL!!!!

We are both foreigners in this country. And we are both from different countries from each other. Opposite ends of the earth in fact! which is why I did the Davison instead of the regular composite. IP: Logged |

I can't wait to see your entire Davison story. You know what they say about rabbits It can definitely be his child. Jupiter's (5th ruler) only connection is with Mars. ------------------

Interesting that you see a third person. But I imagine it's the child as the ex wife exists but she'd be only there temporarily where as a child will be there forever right? I guess they will be connected forever as she's the child's mother.... Would an ex wife show up in a composite? And of course my ex is an ex. He won't be around more than as a friend and even then, you lose contact with ex even if they are friends... Bit freaked out by the third person! IP: Logged |

This relationship is definitely a lesson about parenthood or involving parenthood, look at the nodal axis. And since you said child, it's almost certain the child is Mercury, 5th ruler. But I wonder why he is in the 12th. The unexpected is imminent in this relationship, it's not an easy relationship. Are you sure you want it? if you do, prepare for any surprise. You should try the chart with Vertex and asteroids: Juno, Vesta, Lilith, Pallas, Amor, Valentine, Cupido, Lust, Pholus, maybe Eros, Psyche, Alma

The composite with those asteroids? It's early days and that is my issue......... do I want it? Isn't that what these early days are for to figure that out? It's so good. But very very complicated. I just can't see how we are going to pull this together. It's cute when he says that he can see it for both of us. But I like to have the vision. It's not clear yet. I did the chart without reference place. If I use a reference place merc is in the 1st/on Asc. Cap asc 19,50 The "parenthood" thing could also be that i'd have to learn to be a step parent to his child if I stay in this. I've never been a parent. Never dated anyone with children before.

^ I recall A Compo Sun/Moon square as an extraordinarily rewarding one also, Lee. LUCIE; there's another thing which might interest you... (related to the Davison);
It's from DARKSTAR astrology; quote: Relationships are the best teacher and love horoscope compatibility using synastry aspects can certainly see what type of lessons you are learning from each other. There are 3 ways to do this, and that is through casting the Composite, Davison and Draconic charts. One of the most illuminating things to look out for, is when the partners important planets or points make a conjunction with the Sun, Moon, AC, Nodes or Vertex in the Davison chart. It shows how important the relationship is for each of them. It will reveal if one is more attached to the union than the other.
quote: Strong indicators of many lives together and/or a karmic mission will be confirmed if the couple have conjunctions to the big 3 (Sun/Moon/AC). I have found the Nodes and the Vertex very important also. Davison charts often show very clear karma between a couple and clues to their past lives. The best synastry in the world however does not guarantee ever-lasting happiness.
(well I don't believe in many lives together ^ but it would be a bit weird to wipe a part of the sentence LOL) http://darkstarastrology.com/synastry-chart/ IP: Logged |
