I wanted to see what you guys think of this.

I've been thinking about Mars/Pluto aspects a lot lately. I know that in sexual relationships this is supposed to indicate passion and the possibility of toxic themes like rape and other kinds of abuse. But I was thinking about how it plays out in platonic relationships with people of the same sex.

I am a naturally jealous person (Venus opposite Pluto...can't help it lol). But typically I can let go of it if I spend enough time around the person and feel that they aren't really a threat to me. HOWEVER, when I have a Mars/Pluto aspect with another female, the horns come out.

When this aspect is at play, I may feel overwhelming jealousy towards them. Even if there is no logical reason for me to be jealous, it could be years before I let go of that jealousy. This is especially true if I am Pluto in the relationship.

I have a friend who is very obviously jealous of me (she even talks about it...all the time) and we have Mars trine Pluto where she is Pluto.

So what do you think? In platonic relationships between two women (or men, but I've never been a man so I can't say), do you think this is a good indication of jealousy? Or any kind of toxic feelings between them for that matter.

Soft Aspects: We get along.

Square/Opposition: They **** me off.

Conjunction: I feel intimidated.

Even if it is a soft aspect and I get along with them, for me, there is likely to be some jealousy. Unless I am Mars...then it is easier to let go of. It's still sometimes there though.

It may be something else.

I have (Venus square Pluto) and not even Mars square Pluto get me jealous.

Do you have any Moon-Venus/Saturn affliction if you are a woman or Sun-Mars/Saturn if you are a man?

Nope. The only planets out of those three that even aspect are Moon and Venus, and that is the Bi-Quintile. (I am a woman)

I've always heard that the Venus-Pluto aspect is the culprit when it comes to jealousy. But I have also heard that the opposition is stronger than the square. What orb is your Venus Pluto square? Do you not consider yourself a jealous person at all?

About 6 deg.

Not jealous/posessive at all... I've been madly in love and she would ask me if she could go out with her friends. I was like sure babe, have fun...!

Venus square Pluto has more to do with power struggles in relationships.

Haha! That makes sense. Also the six degree orb is weaker. My orb is like 1.21 or something.

Are you a guy? I noticed you said "she" when referring to your significant other. If so, that might also have something to do with the lack of jealousy in Mars/Pluto dynamics.

I'm male... That may make it worst because Mars is a masculine energy.

:: thinks ::

Well, we're in a sexual relationship, but we're asexual. So there's no lust or crazy passionate emotions or anything.

Conjunction. It's exact, too. He's MARS, I'm PLUTO.

It might apply.
