Hey!, ok so in this synastry his saturn (libra) is squaring my venus (cancer) and trining my sun (gemini). How will the saturn/venus aspect feel in comparison to the saturn/sun? & did you ever have a relationship with someone who's saturn touched your personal planets? http://s896.photobucket.com/user/Saylee23/media/astro_61gw_06_13_saylee_mfojo_randell_blake490903672.gif.html IP: Logged |

There is no longevity to a relationship if Saturn does not touch a planet from one to the other in synastry. Look at your long term friends... even there ... there SHOULD be a saturn contact or two. I have one long term friend that is not the case but her sun trines my venus-jupiter conjunction. She is a Capricorn... Saturn ruled. Probably why we do not need the contact of saturn itself. But otherwise you would meet and even if things transpired... after the initial contact.... things would wane. Even squares with Saturn in Synastry are not bad.T. IP: Logged |

I've read that you need Saturn contacts in either synastry OR composite for longevity in relationships (or both obviously). Is this true? i.e. only outer planet and minor Saturn contacts in synastry but Saturn trine personal planets in composite.IP: Logged |

Composite is a different animal when discussing saturn and longevity. Remember the math when you are doing a composite, you are adding the planets together (so to speak) at the midpoints. This will not necessarily evoke saturn in any relationship but can. In synastry you need the contact and without it there is no longevity.T IP: Logged |

Do the minor contacts and contacts with outer planets still count for something in synastry?IP: Logged |

Ok so saturn sqaure a planet like venus wouldn't always mean that saturn is a "wet blanket" to venus? IP: Logged |

Square a planet in synnastry would not. A square is action and at the point that that planet is activated in the synastry chart there would be some action... positive or negative but action. T IP: Logged |

I'll give 2 examples. I'm Libra Saturn on the Asc.1. My ex husband was also Libra Saturn. His Saturn trine my Sun and Venus. My Saturn sextile his Sun. We got along great and hardly ever argued. When we did, it was in a jokey way and we never went to bed mad at each other. He always tried to make things up to me when I was mad. He always would hold onto me tightly in bed, even on the last night spent together before we got divorced (and never saw each other after that). We use to share a lot of deep dreams together. 2. It wasn't a relationship but it was a very strong connection that did not come to pass. The guy is Capricorn Saturn. His Saturn fell into my 4th house, and my Saturn fell into his 4th house and tightly conjunct his Sun. We felt like we were a team together, even upon first meeting each other. We talked about incorporating each other into our future lives...we talked about traveling together and everything. IP: Logged |
