I was ascendant (and Mars) he was Saturn in Gemini. He wanted to "save" me from...myself? And he lied about being married. Then when he found the guts to get a divorce he blamed me for having lost his ex wife's financial stability. The fact that she had previously cheated on him with his friend was of no importance.

Did he also try to "restrict" you in a way every time you found some growth in some way so he would try to restrict you out of insecurity that you might "outgrow" him? Did you guys also have any neptune aspects since you mentioned "saving" or is this a saturn "thing" to?
