So I'm talking to a girl right now and my moon and mars fall in her 8th house. Any of you have experience with these planets falling in your 8th house or vice versa?

Very interesting. MARS there is really potent, too. My first and I (first for us both) had a lot of mutual 8H stuff; his SUN and MARS in my 8H was one; my SUN-PLUTO in his.

What do you think is giving you the upper hand? Is she more demonstrative in general? That's curious to me, because I'm not. I'll always get the impression he's been nursing a very intense obsession, but is VERY skilled, practised, in hiding it. He's confirmed that, actually.

I've also heard from a woman whose MOON falls in her romantic interest's 8H, the same sort of obsessive feelings. So, your case intrigues me.

Seriously though, I'm not sure about the obsession thing, neither of us are particularly obsessive.

I think it's more a case of, if you've already got obsessive natal aspects, it might get triggered in synastry. But, perhaps, 8H / MOON is just an indicator of sexual compatibility?

This guy's moon falls in my 7th or 8th house and I am weirdly obsessed with him though I don't think it's because of this aspect. He is drawn to me in the same way too I can sense it.

Maybe it's you being an aquarius. I think aquarius men have this way of making women wanting them while not promising anything.

My moon and venus in his 8th, his sun in my 8th... and then there's the moon, mercury, venus, mars/ Pluto aspects. We are both very Plutonian anyway so I don't know who is obsessed with who more...it's crazy!!!

imo the planet person does have the upper hand - the house is affected and gives the moon/mars the ability to control quite a lot of the relationship.

She is more attracted to me. I don't want to be vulgar and give too many details but i will say I have never been able to get a girl off soo easily.

I'd say it's more that there'd be a mutual sense of ease regarding intimacy -- or, if that's not natural, a willingness to engage in it. Each would be directing their emotional energy into 8H matters -- psychological intensity, emotional transparency and sexual dynamics and availability. Clearly such a mutual overlay is significant.
