He has a heavier karma than she does. Something specific. And something owed to a child. I get that from him very plainly. Their energy is earthy, grounded. Hers has the 'freedom' of air, however. She can adapt more easily than he can. I'm feeling a degree of Taurus from them both.

If looking at eras or timelines, one in the 1920s, another around the civil war period, and again in the 1960s, United States. (Though he has had French and Indies experiences. While they crossed paths in the French line, it was not strong. She also has Canadian ties.)

She emigrated in the '20s, and he helped her become established. This is less karmically heavy than the others. They shared a Capricorn energy.

She did lose him, I feel, in the civil war period, and struggled to raise a child alone. As a result, in the 1960s (most recently) they were in a progressive relationship, possibly unmarried, but raising a child together. They shared art together and dreamt of a better world in their co-creation. This didn't end well. He was talented, but addicted. Again, she was left a single mother. She did all right on her own, though, and developed a great independence in this life/timeline. This cultivated a lot of Aries energy. Conversely, he was a strong Piscean with Aquarius.

She brings with her some of this Aries karma, while his is curiously Scorpio, as well as Pisces. Developing Geminian traits will help him to resolve some of this past pain.

They have mostly been lovers, or of a romantic nature, though the dynamics are very warm. He has trouble trusting. He remembers lifetimes of wealth and stability and tries to return to that level of accomplishment. She is more interested in human relations, and is a loving, nurturing soul. In one lifetime, she nursed him -- literally -- to near health, only to lose him. This is a deep wound, which may bring about unconscious fears of abandonment. That was a very Cancer / Pisces heavy line. Now she must balance a Scorpionic (past) streak which brings heavy Water. Leo can help, along with tapping into her Aries energy amassed from lives of independence and struggle.

They are both strong souls of relatively even years; she's a bit older, even though he's seen worse in his slightly shorter time.

She must use her uncommon capacity for love and devotion to help him heal these 'heart wounds' and love as openly and completely as he's able. I feel, if this is done, they will bring their former child back and heal the family wound that emerged in previous lives which is now a shared karma.
