So I've known one of these guys since I was born (basically) & the other one for several years now. I am married and platonic friends with both of them, but the sexual chemistry is very distracting. It's hard not to notice. For example, my husband is friends with one of them and he teases me about it because even he can see it. Do you guys see it? Friend 1 Friend 2 (known my lifetime)

Just for contrast, here is me & the hubby. This is the healthiest, most sane/normal partnership I've ever had. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

Fascinating. One's PLUTO is on your MARS, and the other's VENUS. Hardly seems coincidental. You're seeking something on that MARS -- in terms of sheer physical / sexual chemistry, it would seem.IP: Logged |

The circumstances are very coincidental though. Unless you are saying you believe in fate/destiny & soul mate type stuff. And on that front, I'm not sure what I believe. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

I actually meant in terms of relational psychological dynamics; I feel we seek certain pattern completions (astrologically) and energies to be realised. It's intriguing to me, that you've got an exact conjunction to your MARS in both cases. That seems as if you need something on your MARS to bring about a certain experience. It might also be it's TOO intense, and that's why your husband's chart doesn't have anything there. Does it aspect it? IP: Logged |

That is interesting. I hadn't thought of it that way. quote: It might also be it's TOO intense, and that's why your husband's chart doesn't have anything there. Does it aspect it?
Does what aspect what? I missed something. *lol* ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

I agree with what Aubyanne has said. In the second chart, it's very possible that you're feeling some of that energy come through from his Venus being what looks like exactly conjunct your Mars. And with the Pluto conjunctions like she also mentioned. Also, in the first chart, I'm seeing 4 personal planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) all fall into your 8th house (I'm assuming you're the inner chart) via overlays. I'm wondering if that's something as well, especially with Venus and Mars being there! Since 8th house synastry is typically known to cause sometimes intense attraction whether it's sexual or just a mere fascination, and a lot of times the attraction or fascination is not well understood by one or both parties, depending on who feels the energy more. Yep. I can't say if he feels it more or less, but he feels it. Before I met my hubby, he found out that I liked him (I had a friend with a big mouth). He replied with, "Seriously?! She's so beautiful" and we started talking on the phone. We had a thing, but it never got past flirting because of the timing. He was having relationship drama and I didn't want to interfere and then BAM! the universe dropped my husband in front of me LOL. It wasn't the same force of nature (that primal attraction) with my husband, but it was an instant at home feeling, so I immediately stopped flirting with my friend and anyone else who was in the picture as I was promiscuous at the time. Anyway, as it turns out, they are friends. I had no idea at the time. So hubby kind of asked him what was going on between us and I guess our friend got weird because he realized my hubby was going to pursue me. Considering he still had a gf, he basically just backed off and let me go. It's so awkward though when we are all together. We tend to gaze at each other from across the room. It's embarrassing to admit that because I'm not unhappy with my married life. But as I mentioned, the attraction is STRONG and as it turns out, apparently astrology can explain that. He always looks as though he's dying to say something to me but he won't and I wouldn't want him to at this point because I feel we missed our opportunity. And here we are... one big awkward friend family LOL! ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

you have your pluto, mars and venus all clumped together so sooner or later you will come across this with people, and you have several examples here. it's not exactly a stellium closely conjunct, but those three planets will always fall together in another persons' chart and may land together or slightly apart in their 3rd, 4th, etc. or, in one of these cases, the 8th, which brings forth fascination/obsession with someone, generally sexually. you are obviously selecting partners who activate those 8th house feelings for you. the 1st chart shows you'd be more attracted to him, because his planets fall into your 8th ; the 2nd chart shows a mutual interest but nothing deep (probably the weakest of the 3 imo) and the 3rd chart indicates that he would value you more since your overlay is in his 8th, it's a reverse of the 1st chart. i would select 1 as the best match overall, but it doesn't matter since you picked 3 :-) but they are all very nice.IP: Logged |

This is a really fascinating case. You have exact Mars conjunctions with both of them, one with Venus, one with Pluto. Classic. But it seems your husband's SATURN conjuncts that Mars in your oriental chart. These charts don't show degrees, what are the exact degrees of your Mars, your DC and your husband's Saturn?IP: Logged |

haha well the first two are just my friends even though we had a history of *almost* being something. My hubby is a great dude... I'm pretty dang lucky! Thankfully he pokes fun of me with this attraction thing and he doesn't react in a mean or jealous manner. I appreciate that he can see it and not be threatened because there's nothing to worry about. He must know that deep down. Thanks everyone! ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

Yep, your husband's Saturn is 20 Libra in your oriental chart. If your birth time is off by about 10 minutes, it might even be 23 Libra, making it exactly conjunct. My research into the oriental chart is new, but I am seeing these things everywhere. Here in your case, for your Mars, you could have chosen a Venus conjunction, or a Pluto conjunction, but you chose an oriental Saturn conjunction for your spouse. Interesting.IP: Logged |

If I am understanding correctly, the Saturn conjunction would be more stable / long-term then right? (that makes a GREAT deal of sense, actually) ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |
