I was surprised to read this one report but I am just passing it along.

I don't see Neptune that way but I have not seen it in any of the charts I have, personally, done so can't speak to it beyond reading that one report, my Friend.

On the positive side Neptune is of course a compassionate, spiritual and very creative planet, even though not completely of this earth.
Learning to fly with our imagination and intuitive sensing without losing contact to the ground, seems like one on those lessons we have to master.
At least for me that rings true.

I think it sets one up to flagellate oneself when one cannot overcome everything.

I have many, many, many people argue with me about this but I do believe this.

I am a counselor and have a Master's degree. I worked in Counseling.

I have lived life and had a hard childhood.

I am an Astrologer.

That is my personal point of view.

To develop self esteem the best one can, one has to accept that not all things can be overcome.

Some have to be accepted as part of the fabric of oneself as a whole.

The ACCEPTANCE will bring one the peace that the constant striving will not imo

I have Child conj dejanira, exact. I was fated to be abused, imo. Other people may not agree but I believe some things are fated such as something like this.

HOWEVER, through Astrology, I have come to see my gifts. I have come to use my gifts and honor my gifts such as writing, being very empathetic, being able to express my own pain in order to help others with their pain, having a good sense of humor, being able to see to the core of things.

I have a lot of gifts. Most of us have gifts. The gifts can be used to raise self esteem.

When we use our gifts, we feel good. Others appreciate us and give us strokes, which we all need.

We all need to feel that we make s difference in the lives of others.

I have Astrowizard conjunct the ASC, exact. I was made to be an Astrologer.

I have Jung conjunct the Sun exact. I was made to be a counselor.

I have Neptune trine the Sun and Mercury so I am creative.

I have Pluto sextile the Sun and Mercury so I see into the depths of things.

I have all these gifts BUT I was very, very hurt from childhood abuse.

I carry these wounds. They are healing to some degree but a big part of the healing is the acceptance of the limitations I have from them.

I am really afraid of many things from a childhood in which nothing was safe.

I have many phobias and a general sense of being nervous and high strung.

I lost most of my confidence.

I don't try to CHANGE these things. I try to magnify my talents and these things change by themselves.

That being said, I don't know if I will ever "overcome" them in the way the word is used in Astrology/Psychology.

I may just have to accept them as part of my total fabric of both the blessings and the hardships.

I agree, I used the example because I know Ami is a Christian and I think if one planet is to be associated with Christ and Christ Consciousness, that would be Neptune, the Higher Octave of Venus, the planet of unconditional love, universal consciousness, universal love, finality, forgiveness, compassion as you pointed out, spirituality, mysticism and mystics, surrender to God, merging with the higher good, religion, religious leaders, mass movements as the ocean tides, appealing to large masses of people and even proselytism (look what I'm doing )
