Just quickly looking at your synastry you have a lot of aspects creating tension and power struggles.

Your Mars oppose her Mars
Your Mars cj her SN (SN has a restraining influence on Mars which Mars doesn't like. Mars owes the SN a karmic debt.)
Your Moon conjunct her Mars
Your Pluto opposes her Mercury/Saturn/Venus. Pluto in opposition to Mercury=arguments
Your Pluto conjuncts her Moon
Your AC conjunct her Mars and NN
Sun inconjunct Sun-you just don't "get" each other. You will have to make adjustments in order to understand where the other is coming from.

That's a lot of Mars and Pluto. When these planets aspect our Moons it can sometimes feel uncomfortable. If this was a synastry with a romantic partner you'd be able to release some of that tension with a sexual outlet but with your Mom, no release of the tension except through arguing. You both have a lot of fixed sign placements, too, so neither of you are very flexible.

You're naturally a very soulful, soft, sensitive, and gentle person. Think of PSYCHE. Having a NESSUS-SUN is definitely going to harden that, to an extent, or it might be a conflict within your own nature: the balance of the driven, obsessive 'go getter' versus the receptive, non-initiating 'reaction-oriented' individual who tends to go along with whomever or whatever.

Not only are the Sun/Nessus conjunctions inconjunct, but so are the Mercuries.

For one, as both Ami and Auby have mentioned, you both have prominent Nessus conjunct Sun, she near her AC, making it important for her personality and very visible, and you on your NN, making it important for your direction in life and the way you grow as an individual.

Ok, don't think I'm trying to give you unsolicited advice here, but I just really want to warn you to keep yourself AWARE of how likely it is that you're learning a lot of negative lessons from your mother and unconsciously applying it to yourself and your life. It might seem to you that there's no way you could be like her; with the inconjunction you just can't see the similarity, but the fact is that the pattern is the same, and it replicates itself from her AC(appearance, knee-jerk instincts) to your NN(development in life, point of striving). Do you get angry when someone tells you "you're just like your mother"? If you don't allow yourself to take long calming breaths and think things through before reacting, you might get a lot of that in the future. Meditation would be a wonderful tool for you to use in every day life. You have the depth, undoubtedly, learning to use it for positive results will be a lifelong journey for you.

I can only imagine what the fights are like, it seems like she instigates and you escalate and things just don't end up well. You both want apologies, but you don't speak one another's language enough to actually say them the way the other wants to hear them.
