In my limited experience I can see there a lot of positive things about this synastry, but is it GREAT? Is there soulmate potential here? These are two friends of mine. She is on the inside.

is it GREAT? No. is it good? Yes. you have too much similarity here, imo. it's a good thing, but could also lead to a strong friendship instead of a burning, passionate love. depends on what is going on and what the people want, but it's not soulmate stuff imo. for that you'd need the angles conjunct, better/romantic house overlays, maybe the nodes touching an angle, the vertex, etc. it looks more like friendly twins, people who will be quite similar in their overall nature and actions and get along really well. in the composite what sticks out to me is the venus in the 12th, which isn't a strong position for romantic relationships, and the moon opposite saturn, which isn't a favorable aspect either. the moon lands in the 11th, so it confirms, to me, something more friendly. and with saturn in the 5th, not so good.

Great charts!
I see a 9th house emphasis and there are indeed many suggestions the friendship side in this relationship is quite strong. No need to worry about Venus in 12th, it was inevitable and Moon in hard aspect to Saturn is the most common composite aspect in marriages/long-term relationships. The composite alone, by the high number of aspects and the many closed figures shows this is a long-term relationship. Are you sure his ASC is not in Pisces? (assuming he is outside)
