Both, if see a hard aspect in comp and its in davison not good, or even a good composite and I look at the davison and there is a hard aspect a lot of the time it dissolved for reasons that sound like what that particular aspect doesIP: Logged |

Both do for me.Davison explains more of forces acting on the relationship. Composite is the relationship's energy and its force. IP: Logged |

Personally I find midpoint describes my relationships better. I dont really get Davison....but have read is suppose to be more sensitive to transits? Is that so?IP: Logged |

Maybe it's because I don't know enough about astrology yet, but I find after looking at both the midpoint and the davison that the midpoint best described the structure and the processes in my last relationship. Like, how we got from A to B. However, the davison took into account more of the deeper/loving feelings that often flowed between us - so it best described the nature of the relationship. But hey, that's just me.------------------

I find Davison more personal, like what is happening behind closed doors whereas the composite more like how people see us, what we were like in the outside world.  IP: Logged |

I like this. It makes sense to me. I guess when I said that the composite was more like the structure of my previous relationship, I meant what the aspects of our Davison was contained in. It probably is true to say that who we were as individuals contributed to the structure (the composite) and how the nature of the Davison played out. Our composite was littered with Uranus aspects, and so our relationship/bond was always unstable, but there was/is still alot of love (highlighted by the Davison). From what I can interpret from our natal charts, I am better able to deal with these Uranus aspects because my natal chart has quite a few. ------------------

Interesting Link...SO both are highly sensitive to transits... So Davison is more about outside forces affecting the relationship and midpoint more what is going on internally..? IP: Logged |
