Hello everyone! Still fairly new to the wonderful world of astrology! I'm interested in what interpretations anyone else can get from my boyfriends and my chart. We have been together for five years. I feel that I'm going through a lot of personal issues and astrology has been helping me identify with myself. I'm curious to see the outside responses on our chemistry. My Chart: His Chart: Synastry Chart: Composite Chart: Davison Chart: IP: Logged |

Hmmmm, you said you were with him for 5 years? How do you feel about that? You have the uranus, saturn and neptune in the 1st house- I had that with an ex I found it very unsettling and kinda paranoid all the time about him cheating (was with him 2 years)...mars conjunct DC, do you guys have fights often? I also notice the ASC is saggi which is one of those fun travel and study signs, do u find you do that kind of stuff with him? It bothers me that there is no sun or moon conjunct with saturn...I am not the most advanced but it doesn't look to me too stable, how do u feel about it? IP: Logged |

The composite and Davison look rather different, if anything I prefer the look of the composite despite the many oppositions (opposites attract I guess) but u have venus and mars aspects which are pretty good! and you have saturn in 7th house which means staying in the relationship however with a bit of restriction? I forgot to mention that the north node in the 7th is also good- you learn and advance through this relationship and there is a focus in career? Sun conjunct MC in the Davison and sun in 10th house in composite in Aries.IP: Logged |

there is a great book out there called the mercury method of chart comparison. the author writes about how opposite mercury signs don't last very long, as mercury is the sign of communication, especially in romantic relationships. the book is excellent, and ever since i read it the first thing i now look at is mercury. in synastry your mercury signs sit opposite and it is also opposite the moon in composite. just for those two things alone i wouldn't be a fan of this synastry in the long run. it points to potential miscommunications/fights/emotional misunderstandings that you'd both have to work really hard at overcoming with one another. just in general it's not a good sign to see moon and sun oppositions in the composite, especially to the four major personal planets. saturn in the 7th composite is so-so. it definitely adds staying power to the relationship, but kinda puts on a damper on the 'fun' - it seems to present more difficulties than easy times for a couple.IP: Logged |

Nothing is that simplified. For some, MERC oppositions may be present in important synastry. I concur, communication is crucial. But lumping all MERC oppositions (and hard aspects?) into the category of 'negative' is over-simplifying. IP: Logged |

have you read the book? it's not my own opinion, just one i support, and it is based upon her studies and years of research on marriages/dating - just on mercury - to back up the claims that hard aspects (generally) fail. there are always exceptions of course and counterclaims can be found for any aspect.
