Hi Everyone,

This is the composite for someone that I recently started dating. We were friends first and recently started dating a couple months ago (he pursued). I just looked up our composite and see there are a lot of squares and most of the planets are clumped together. Our synastry is also filled with squares. I'm thinking that's not a good sign :/

If anyone can give me a bit of insight into what the composite/synastry are indicating I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks so much!

P.S. I tried to post the actual charts in the message but it wouldn't work so I ended up just posting the links. If anyone know how to do post pics, please let me know how?

Synastry (I'm the planets on the outside in red):

Right off the bat, PLUTO conjunct MOON.

Deep, transformative, requires total emotional honesty. Definitely not a light-hearted thing.

I've just been reading about Pluto conjunct moon, definitely doesn't sound light and breezy! It doesn't feel intense at the moment but we do spend every single day together...hmmm, so maybe that is intense for a new relationship.

Many couples don't experience true intimacy. They THINK they do, though. Therein lies the issue.

If you're harnessing the legitimate power of that conjunction (but then the orb is a bit wide, too) you will be confronting some very deep, intense things.

Thanks for your input Aubyanne! I've appreciated it!

Funnily enough physical intimacy seems to be an issue with us even though we are constantly around each other (he's a virgin). I'm not sure if the 'slow burn'in the physical department is because of his virginity or the fact that we have some 'kill joy' aspects in our composite i.e. venus square saturn, though we also have some good aspects as well.

the composite isn't too bad, even with the saturn squared to almost everything and in the 12th. it might mean problems from the outside you have to overcome as a couple. the planets clustered together in 3rd and 4th put a focus on home and family, so that might speak to the friendship you already share, and moon in the 5th is a very good romantic placement. the synastry isn't my favorite though. it definitely shows this guy has the greater interest; your moon falls into his 8th, your sun and mars in his 5th, and his neptune is exact conjunct to your IC. that can be nice for you because he'll see you very positively, but for him - it'll blind him to relationship issues. it looks more friendly imo though, especially given the shared ASC too. you probably feel very similar, but perhaps aren't

Thanks for the reply Starmoon!

I think you're right about the interest being a bit stronger on his end but I definitely do like him. I have to admit, with things being soooo slow going on the physical side (even though we spend 24/7 together) I was beginning to think it was going to be more of a friend thing. What in the synastry makes you think it's more friendly?

With my moon in his 8th and sun & mars in his 5th shouldn't there be a bit more passion from his side? I'm not sure how the houses work (tho I've been trying to read up on it)

it's hard to explain the houses, so keep doing your own reading and research on that. *in general* yes, the house person is affected by the overlay and since your moon hits his 8th and your sun/mars in his 5th the expectation is that you bring out those feelings in him. it also means that the person sees you through the "lens" of that house, so he would see you as passionate (8th) and as someone with some qualities he'd want in a dating/activity partner (5th). this is general, but you get the basic idea. when people do not do the expected the best thing to do is go back to their natal and see why things aren't progressing as they should. he has a lot of libra planets (can be VERY indecisive and hesitant to act), and his planets are in his 2/3 so his life focus may not be relationships/dating. you have your moon in your 8th natally in a fire sign and your sun/mars in the 5th and cusp of 5th natally, so for you, it'll be very natural to feel the effects of those overlays - you live with similar feelings daily, the passion/intensity and interest in social stuff (presumably). you also have to careful to not project - as an aries moon you'd be more aggressive/decisive and he won't operate that way, his planets indicate taking a lot of time to weigh his options. the friendship vibe, imo, is the composite - it shows a more familiar/family dynamic and the moon in 5th would give it a sense of comraderie and close friendship; it just - imo - looks like a close friendship rather than a passionate and lasting relationship, but the synastry looks good enough for something to come from it.

That makes perfect sense Starmoon, thank you!

I think you are right on the money, I sense a friendship vibe for sure. His life focus is definitely not on dating/relationships he is always jibber-jabbering about his life plans 3 years from now and his career.

I think I misunderstood the situation because he came on very strong (i.e. passionately) in the beginning, I didn't see him in a romantic light initially but he kept pursuing so I caved because we get along so well. He is constantly wanting to be spend time together, i.e. every.single.day, so that is what has made me think he wanted a 'real' relationship. However, his lack of passion in the past month has made me second guess everything. We've talked about it and he said it's just because he is unsure of what he wants to do in the next few years (and the whole virgin situation) so he is hesitant to get toooo serious - even though I can't stress enough his constant need to spend time together (which is confusing) and I haven't even remotely tried to push a serious commitment on him because it's too early in the relationship imo...your 'natal' description of our personalities pretty accurate!.

I'm guessing, friends it is!

Hi Starmoon (or anyone who may have some input)

You mentioned in an earlier post above about neptune exact conjunct IC in synastry and I have not been able to find any information about it online.

What exactly is the impact of someone's neptune being in exact conjunct to annother person's IC (i.e. how does it feel for the neptune person and IC person respectively).
