Hi Margym0o,I can see how they’re each other’s type based on the symbolism of each partner’s chart. I’m assuming the red is male and the blue is female. There’s lots of repeating themes here all indicating how these two fit each other’s type. By the way, it's totally cute story of how they went to high school together but didn't date until afterwards. Were they from different social groups? Or was there some other reason why not?
From her side,
She has a Capricorn Dsc and he’s a Capricorn Sun (even though his sun falls into her 6th house there’s a match to her Dsc by sign). She also has Saturn in her 5th house attracting her to his Capricorn side.
Her Sagittarius Saturn is her 7th house ruler, and so is her Mars is in Sag too (type of behavior she likes from a guy). This really attracts her to his Sagittarius Asc, Moon, Saturn (which rules his Sun), Mercury, and Uranus. He’s very much the Cap/Sag of her 7th house. He also has a Moon/Saturn conjunction in Sagittarius in his 1st house. He repeats the theme of her 7th house cusp and ruler over and over.
She has Scorpio on the 5th house cusp, with Mars and Saturn in Sagittarius falling into that house. He matches this with his Scorpio Venus, and Sagittarius Moon and Saturn all falling into her 5th house. Again her Saturn in the 5th attracts her to his Capricorn Sun. Her Mars in her 5th would attract her to his very full 1st house (the Aries/Mars house)… He’s got Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Mercury and Neptune all in his 1st house.
And lets not forget his Asc also in Sagittarius in her 5th house conjunct her Mars (style of male behavior she likes). This is a very good indicator of attraction.
Her Mars is in Sagittarius, and so it traditionally rules the 9th house. The 9th house is her secondary Mars house and shows more detail about the type of guy she likes. Pisces is on her 9th house and he has Jupiter and Mars in Pisces in her 9th house.
Her 8th house is co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus both in Sagittarius, this matches back to his Sagittarius placements again.
Another important thing to note is that his Moon is tightly conjunct her Vertex in Sag. This brings a feeling of fatedness to the connection, especially for her.
From his side,
He has Sagittarius rising and his Dsc is Gemini. Gemini rules the 3rd house traditionally, and so his secondary 7th house is the 3rd house. She matches this with her massive Aquarius stellium falling into his secondary 7th house (the 3rd house). She has Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter all in his 3rd house… A Gemini Dsc looks for good communication with a partner, and a partner that puts planets in their 3rd house can certainly provide this. His Secondary Dsc in the sign Aquarius would attract him to her very Aqua personality as well.
His Dsc ruler is Mercury in Sagittarius, and this matches well with her Mars, Saturn, and Uranus in Sagittarius. Also, Saturn and Uranus are the rulers of her Aquarius stellium, adding a Sag bent to her Aqua-ness.
His 8th house is Cancer, and her Asc in Cancer falls into his 8th house. This also relates back to his Venus. He has Venus in Scorpio, Scorpio is traditionally in charge of the 8th house, and so the 8th house works like a secondary Venus for him. Her Asc in his 8th has a double meaning. His 8th house ruler is the Moon in Sagittarius… relating back to her Sag placements.
Interestingly, her Aquarius stellium falls into her own 8th house. That fact that she’s a Cancer Asc with an 8th house stellium matches well to his Venus attraction tendencies.
His 5th house is Aries, his 5th house ruler Mars in Pisces is conjunct his IC (the Cancer point) and also in the 4th house. This relates back again to her Cancer Asc. The fact that the 5th house ruler Mars is in a water sign increases the Cancer-ness of this symbolism.
Also in regard to his 5th house, because Aries is in charge of the 1st house, his secondary 5th house is the 1st house… Her Mars is conjunct his Asc, and she also has Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in his 1st house. The way she activates his Asc/1st house would have a 5th house type feeling for him.
His Vertex-Axis falls across Cancer/Capricorn, and while it doesn’t conjunct anything in her chart, she repeats this theme in her chart with her Cancer Asc/Capricorn Dsc opposition. So there’s an energy resonance there even if the aspect is missing.
About the composite... My favorite part is how they have a Pluto/Jupiter trine in Scorpio and Pisces, and then Capricorn Venus comes along and sextiles them both. All only a degree apart, and Venus/pluto is exact.
