"The North Node conjunct Vertex is one of the top indicators for marriage"So claims this website http://darkstarastrology.com/best-synastry-aspects/ The only conjunction I've ever had with my vertex was with someone's else's venus. It was all consuming love from my end but not from his. But I've never had any NN conjunct Vertex with anyone and wonder if there is any truth to what this website claims about these two chart points conjuncting in synastry. IP: Logged |

for marriage there must be other indicators. i share this with two people. first one is important to me and fell madly in love with him and have known him 7 years but no marriage will ever occur between us.
2nd one i just met him and i do think i will marry him but my vertex is exactly conjunct his venus and his NN is 3 orbs away. IP: Logged |

It's not a bad list.Vertex conj DSC seems to be more common, I think, especially in the composite. ------------------

I have often wondered what this means as I have a NN-Vertex-Destinn conjunction in the 5th in Aquarius.IP: Logged |

In the first example were you vertex or NN? As for your second example.. I don't know about NN + Vertex obviously, but I can tell you that Vertex + Venus means the Vertex person will fall head over heals for Venus (unless there are other things in the chart that prevent it). Venus may or may not feel the same way. I've had plenty of experience with this one. But also any planet that conjuncts my vertex ends up trining many of my personal planets too so...

I'm Vertex in both example. As far as me falling head over heels.. well not exactly.
In the configuration
My Vertex is at 12 Taurus His Venus is at 12 Taurus His NN is at 15 Taurus (node person is always more affected) My Pluto 9 Scorpio in the first house His Pluto 12 Leo So my Vertex is activated by his Venus/Pluto square and i think i bring this out of him as his Venus is opposite my Pluto in the first house. He really likes the way I look.

I have noticed how common this aspect in the Composite seems to be as well. I also have it with at least two or three people. IP: Logged |

I've only had it, as far as I can tell, with a very good friend of mine (platonic, another female) and the current guy I'm seeing. I haven't had it with any of my past boyfriends. IP: Logged |

@athenegoddessI stand corrected. In my example above I said that I fell head over heals for someone who's venus was right on top of my vertex, but this isn't true. It was actually on top of my Descendant not my vertex. My vertex is far from his Venus. Oops. IP: Logged |

Meh. But VERTEX conjunct ASC. Holy God. Never have experienced VX/NNODE, to my knowledge. IP: Logged |
