Something keeps you away from being with each other or allowing love to develop.

On another front I have this aspect with my stepfather and half sister. I live apart from their lives and I am not allowed or invited into family activities. My Stepfather is not civil and hides a deep grudge. He manipulates his relationship with my mom and refuses to have my mom spend much time with me. I am not close to my sister at all and I don't think it will ever be close. She is like a stranger to me.

I know a local comic here who has Saturn Square my Venus and he condemns me - looks down at me cause I believe differently than him. I mentioned something about astrology and he became very offended and started bashing the subject. I blocked him on FB.

But the Venus/Saturn aspect has a 4 deg orb.
We have much closer Saturn aspects: My Sun on his Saturn at 12 Aries. My Saturn - 9' Sag trine his Sun 9' Leo.. and many others in composite.

I can sort of relate to the initial interpretation you posted. Even though there is a lot of mutual love between us, I am pretty sure it will never materialize due to circumstances.
When we met he was still married but separated and she was living in a different country (so they were well and truly separated)... The divorce was finalized a few months into us knowing each other. But there are other problems... It wasn't just his relationship. It could affect his career adversely -- and his reputation.. if we were officially together. I don't want this to happen. I know he doesn't either.. so we've basically agreed to be friends. I know I can count on him no matter what - but I don't think we'll be together romantically.
It hurts like crap!
It's weird.. As much as it feels good to know he *cares* and to know he will always be there for me.. I also know that he's untouchable and we cannot *actually* be together.
It's so much like the interpretation. We are so close but so far.

We did have a 6 year age difference.

I think we stayed together way to long.. We were still together years and years after it all died...
I think we both started to have resentment with each other, yet we were so use to each other, we just couldnt say its over..

I think I have this aspect in synastry with an ex of mine. Neither of us was repulsed by the other at first, in fact it was the exact opposite, but now it's definitely the case. I would be quite happy if I never encountered him again in my life as long as I live, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual.
