I'm very curious about this.

In a natal chart the strength of a planet is largely affected by the ruler of the house it's in. "Jill" has all her personal planets in Virgo and the ruler of Virgo is exalted, then all the planets she has in Virgo are greatly strengthened. "Sarah" also has the same planets in Virgo but in her case the ruler of the sign is debilitated so all the planets she has in Virgo would be weakened.

Does it work like this in synastry too? For example: If Mark's 7th house comprised of Virgo and he met Jill he would likely fall head over heels. But would it be the same for him if he met Sarah? Even though Sarah also fills up his 7th house, the ruler of Virgo in her case is debilitated so her planets are weakened. Would Mark then find her repulsive? Or would he also have feelings for Sarah, but not as strongly? Or does it not make any difference in Synastry?
