We all know that the seventh house describes what we look for in a partner. Lately I was wondering how the planets in our H7 are represented in the charts of our significant others.
I have Pluto in H7 and Mercury conjunct DSC. The guy I was most infatuated with up to this day had Pluto in Libra and Mercury in Taurus.

I was looking into other synastries of people I know and it kept popping up more than I expected. The planet on the Dsc of one chart was in Libra/Taurus of the other chart.

I decided to look at a synastry where there was a significant age discrepancy to see if it worked with outer planets. So I took a look at the chart of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. His Uranus is almost in the H8 but still in H7 though. Her Uranus is in Libra.

This is faaar away from anything resembling a research but I do want to know if anyone else has come across something like this.
Thank you in advance!

I think you might have to clarify this... it has to do with when you are born or the people you are connected to...Hmmm I have my moon there. My 12th house/Ascendant is Libra... anyone who is in my 7th house has something Taurus or late Aries related. I am also quite drawn to Libras because I think they are what I would like to be (rising sign)...

I'll try to clarify.
Let's say someone has a Dsc in Cancer. We would look where that person's Moon is placed and what aspects it makes to determine what this person looks for in a partner, right?

Let's assume this H7 is not empty but has for instance Saturn in it.
What I've thought so far is that the person would not only look for Cancerian traits in a partner but also Capricornian traits since Saturn is in H7.

My question is, what if it's not about the traits of the H7 planet but its placement in the other chart. Namely, Libra and Taurus since Venus is their ruler and since Venus is also the natural ruler of H7.

So what I'm asking is, would that person with H7 Saturn look for someone with Saturn in Libra or Taurus?

Michael Douglas has Uranus in Gemini (barely) in H7. His wife Catherine Zeta Jones has Uranus in Libra.

I hope I was able to clarify it a little bit!

@ciadow
Just to add this!
You said you have Moon in H7.
Have you ever been attracted to people with Libra or Taurus Moon?

Yes, I have been quite attracted to people with Taurus moon.... never met someone with Libra moon actually...But I would say at least 4 people I've dated had Taurus moon..., most of my friends have lots of taurus , virgo, or capricorn in them of some sort...

I think it is all about what we are comfortable with/feel we need to complete ourselves. I like people are very stable, and dont change. lol. I like to know what I am getting into, what to expect from that person... hmmm, i thought it was automatic that we would seek out the 7th house part of ourselves..mines is conflicting, cause my dsc lands in aries, so my dsc starts in aries...but is mostly taurus...I wonder if that adds any dimension to it...?

@ciadow

I think the sign in which the Dsc falls is more important than the sign that follows, regardless of the degree.
Angelina Jolie has her Dsc in the 29th degree of Capricorn, practically making Aquarius 99% of her H7, yet Brad Pitt has a bunch of planets in Capricorn and not in Aquarius.
Is your Moon in Aries or Taurus?

I didn't have ti me to look into it more but I found two quite interesting examples:

Justin Timberlake has Mars conjunct Dsc, Jessica Biel has Mars in Libra.
Chris Martin has Sun conjunct Dsc, Gwyneth Paltrow has Sun in Libra.

I would love to hear if anyone of you here has a planet conjunct the Dsc, while your partner has that planet in Libra or Taurus.

I have a Pisces stellium in 3H, which widely conjuncts my man's Dsc from 6H. It's 5-6 degrees but the stellium consists of my luminaries + Mercury so I think the energy is pretty strong. My Dsc is in Gem and it falls in his 10H. He has Venus in Libra and that falls in my 10H. My NN in Taurus quincunx his Venus. Our Saturns conjuncts exactly.

We don't have a big age gap though - both born in the same year.

7H attraction is definitely strong and with Dsc involved, it's even stronger. It's hard to resist!

I see that I probably haven't explained it well.
I'll try once again.

Look at your own natal chart and see if any planet is conjunct the Dsc.
Then look at the chart of the people you are attracted to, in a relationship with or married to and see if they have the particular planet in Libra or Taurus.

For example:
If you have your Sun conjunct your Dsc, does your SO have a Libra or Taurus Sun?

If you have your Moon conjunct your Dsc, does your SO have a Libra or Taurus Moon?

If you have your Mercury conjunct your Dsc, does your SO have a Libra or Taurus Mercury?

And the same question for Venus, Mars and so on all the way to Pluto.

I understand now. I'm sure there's an affinity there ... sort of like if you have Venus in the 10th and your SO has Venus in Capricorn. There's definitely a connection, but I would say it applies to all of the houses as well. Mars in the 8th will lend a Scorpio/Plutonian focus, and this person might find common ground with a Scorpio Mars, but if their Mars is in Gemini or something, Scorpio might still find them too scatterbrained to connect to.

Ooo! Gotcha.
Sorry I misunderstood your question!
I have nothing conjunct Dsc...

You would have to look at your Mars and see what aspects it makes. You could be attracted to a Cancer Sun conjunct Mars, someone with Mars on the Asc, someone who has their Asc ruler in hard aspect with Mars, someone with their Asc ruler in Aries or Asc in Aries...
There are many possibilities, the person doesn't have to have planets in Aries for you to be attracted to them but they do have to match the Aries symbolism of your Dsc.

And it's only natural that we are attracted to people who have an element strongly represented in their chart that we ourselves lack.

I have an Aries Asc and Uranus in Sagittarius, that's all I have regarding the fire element. Of course I like guys with a lot of fire in their chart.
