If anything reveals secrets, it is Astrology. I am writing this article because I had an amazing experience with my most recent professional chart. The lovely lady had the asteroid Ixiion conjunct her DSC.The amazing revelation was that her two most serious relationships had VERY prominent Ixiion placements in their natal charts. By significant, I refer to Ixxion conjunct the Sun, in one case, and Ixiion conjunct the ASC, in another.For the reader who is not familiar with Ixiion, Ixxion is the asteroid of amorality. Think of a mafia boss. His actions are “just business”, as expressed in the Godfather movies. Similarly, the native with a prominent Ixxion may have the same perceptual lens. In other words, he may be able to commit immoral acts in an insouciant manner. I think the DSC is an overlooked angle. The Astrologer pays a great deal of attention to the Ascendent and the MC. The IC and the DSC seem to get short shrift. For this reason, I am writing this article. I hope it sparks you to look at your own Descendent. I have a Pisces Dsc conj Valentine and my current fiancé is a Pisces Asc conj Venus. My boyfriend before that was a Pisces Sun conj Venus. They are both "dreamy", artistic in their different ways, had problems with substance abuse and feel great pain due to all the injustice in world. IP: Logged |

I agree. ALL angles are very important, IC and DESC are the receptive angles, and very deeply involved in relationships.
Not just the cusp itself, but the angle-ruler as well. Personally I resonate more with the ruler of DESC than the cusp itself. IP: Logged |

I don't have anything in my 7th or conjunct my Desc, however;My DESC ruler is conjunct Neptune in the 6th and I'm always finding myself drawn to those with strong Neptune/Pisces/12th, as well as Virgo/Mercury/6th house placements. My synastry with them is always of the same natures as well. (Neptunian/12th house, Mercurial/3rd/6th house) I also have Venus square Uranus/Neptune, and two men who I've been most drawn to in my life both have a Pisces DESC, and both of their rulers are in Capricorn, go figure lol. One man is someone whom I always felt was my twinsoul, I've never met him. But he's had the greatest impact on me in terms of spiritual growth and self-development.
Another is a dear friend of mine, a companion soulmate I feel and he is someone who I actually see myself marrying and spending the rest of my life with.
And its very rare that I actually feel attracted to anyone enough to want a relationship with them, expose myself to and share my life with.
This friend of mine makes me feel safe enough to do that, and he feels the same way (he's a Pisces DESC, ruler conjunct Uranus, and I'm an Aqua DESC, ruler conjunct Neptune lol) And I have to say, experiencing those connections have been part and partial to my biggest lessons and growth. I have DSC in Taurus conjunct Venus in 6th house.For some reason, I am always attracted to earthy type characters, as they seemingly ground me and appear to be alot more stable than those who belong to air signs and apparently complement my sun sign of Gemini. In terms of significant relationships. I would say my ex is rather significant. There have been others, but I do not know their exact birth time. In the case of my ex: My IC is conjunct his DSC (Pisces). Side note: We have conjunct Ixions.

I have a Scorpio dsc and Ixion widely conjunct it. The last person I was seriouly dating had his ixion conjunct my Ixion and his ixion square my hera exact. Mythology at play.Almost every guy I have been romantically involved with has had either Sun or Moon aspecting Ixion.so there is a attraction factor there.

I have Pisces DSC and Neptune aspecting almost every of my planets, yet i don't like Pisces Suns. I've dated one, and no attraction at all. However, if they have Venus in Pisces, i'm all in! Moon will do as well, just a little bit weaker that attraction will be. IP: Logged |

1. I didn't know it was unfinished. 2. I don't find your post irrelevant, I find the aspect you mentioned irrelevant and by mentioning it you made me think you didn't realize Ixion is a slow asteroid. 3. I've talked about my DSC many times and it can get boring but as you wish: I have a Pisces DSC. Sun conjunct Neptune. I think I'd work better with a Sun-Neptune/12th house placement man than Pisces something. An angle should be ok though. ------------------

Add me to the list of 'PISCES DSC who doesn't really get the allure of Pisces' chicas.I truly don't. Unreliability is not sexy. Dreaming without doing -- is not attractive. Cowardice and using the 'I'm too sensitive for this world' -- not a fan. I don't have a lot in common with bleeding hearts, either. Oh, I know; 'you're selling Pisces short!' you likely say. And that might be true. But I'm a Libran. Give me balance! I believe I've had enough fixer-uppers for one lifetime. @Ami no but i seem to attract them. I think that I seem really vulnerable and easy to control for some reason to some people. My dad was abusive so I am careful not to fall into that pattern as girls who grow up with abusive dads do. It's one of my worst fears and one of the reasons I have commitment issues but I think it taught me a lesson in codependency. The funny thing is that his name asteroid is 2 degrees from my nessus, so four degrees from my dsc. My dsc is 2 libra, which I think is also the Super Galactic Center (1 libra) His mars is on my ic, so go figure. My progressed pluto is on the dsc so what a mess lol. IP: Logged |
