Hi and welcome back to LL, Sylven!

If you were last active twelve years ago, you will notice there are a lot more new forums now, and your topic would probably get more answers in the synastry forum ("Interpersonal Astrology"), so I'm going to move it there. The mods and other experienced readers over there usually prefer visuals, so maybe if you can get round to posting the charts when you have the time, that would be even better. You would need to save the chart images on your Computer, get a free account with a photo sharing service such as tinypic or photobucket, upload the pics there, and copy and paste the "Forum link" they will generate for you so the pics can be displayed directly here.

Soul Unions is the right place for discussing relationships, asking for advice, venting, or reflecting on love and romance… if you want, you're certainly welcome to tell us about your relationship here in addition!

Happy holiday season!

Hi Vajra,

I was looking for synastry but couldn't see it. Haha, I am sorry I posted it there. It is about relationships eventually though ... Thanks for the welcome hon!

Sylven,

So you realise that the serious problems in your marriage, or your dissatisfaction with it, is inciting attractions to unavailable men. Okay. That's a good first step.

How do you want to proceed?

I went through a similar problem a few years ago.

I honestly thought Id NEVER be happy with my SO again. I was in love with another man (and we had GREAT synastry) and couldn't even stand the sight of my mate. But we had 2 children together so I felt stuck.

While I never physically cheated I sure did emotionally.
I emotionally checked out of my relationship and into another.
After I was confronted I had to pick a path.. at the time I picked for my children and stayed worth my SO.
I did some serious soul searching and then some serious apologizing. Today we are a very happy and healthy couple.

Before it all started I went through a hard time in my life where I subconsciously shut everyone out. Once I let myself feel the pain I started communicating to my SO. I told him of my pain, my shortcomings, my voids. When I felt like I wasnt being loved enough by him I let him know. When I needed extra support from him I let him know and told him how to be there for me and when I didn't know how I needed him there I just told him I needed him.

I don't know if you've heard the story of the man that was going to leave his wife for another woman but the wife ask they start over.. http://www.snopes.com/glurge/carry.asp

I rediscovered my soul mate. I feel foolish for the way I acted, but I also think it taught me a lot of important lessons.

Indeed, fairaqua. We're a little too lax with our marriages. We need to be more proactive and dedicated, if we're intending to stick with a spouse through the 'boring parts' and, especially, that which allows us to grow together.

Sylven,

Apologies for coming on a bit strong if I had. I am a therapist, in private practise. It's second nature. I don't mince words, and I'm rather forthright.

You seem to be rather impulsive. Is this typical, or something that's started in recent years? If so, it could be related to progressions; when the MOON changes sign, or makes hard aspects to natal points such as VENUS, it can be extreme if set off by a trigger such as a URANUS or PLUTO transit.

I'm sorry to hear that your husband won't consider couples' counselling with you. That's clearly what's needed here, as you're -- well -- looking for someone (and something) else.

Could you repost the charts in a way that doesn't expire in 16-24 hours? A different method would be longer lasting.

I'm sorry. I wasn't judging you, and didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I was just happy to see you. I didn't read your "juicy story" if that makes you feel any better.
