I'm not sure this really counts as a DW so I went ahead and called it a PNS (not to be confused with PMS)

Person A has their Mercury conjunct Person B's North Node.

Person B has their Mercury conjunct Person A's South Node.

So if each has mercury activating the OPPOSITE nodes to one another, that's not a DW, right? A DW would be if Both Mercuries were conjunct one another's NN's or One another's SN's; not to different nodes.

No, to your first question. Yes, to your second.
