Topic: How important are positive Venus aspects?

The only positive Venus aspect I have with this guy is a trine from his Venus to my ascendant. All the other aspects to his venus are oppositions. My Sun, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter all oppose his venus.Curious as to just how bad news this is? I haven't met him yet, but we're going to meet next weekend. IP: Logged |

You can check the 7th house and 7th house ruler aspects too, as its a Venus house.
It acts like a secondary Venus in a way. IP: Logged |

Hmmm this gave me a light bulb moment!! See, I have a Pisces dsc and my fiance a Virgo dsc. He also have a Pisces Venus in 12H and I, a Virgo Venus 12H in progressed chart. Now to the fun part! His natal Pisces Venus with all its characteristics is very hidden, as is my Virgo (I also have a natal Virgo asc) BUT his 7H Virgo dsc (a secondary venus as you said) is very prominent and he behaves much like a Virgo Venus :-/ He criticizes, nags, analyzes and does his "duty", to my dismay. I on the other hand, is much like my Pisces dsc (a secondary venus in pisces) and come off as real dreamy, spiritual, ethereal, love being in love;with love and just plain aloof at times. I also like to escape in books/tv/alcohol/sex etc etc. He wants me to be perfect in real life and I just want to have perfect dreams and fantasies. I couldn't carry this thought process out to its completion because my head got "fuzzy" but hopefully I made some sense

My venus is actually in their 7th house.but I was just curious as to what it means if the man's venus only has harsh synastry aspects to it. I fill up his 7th house with three planets which is great...but his venus is in his first house. So my Sun, Merc, & Venus all oppose his Venus. But the absolute tightest orb aspect in our synastry is Venus opposite Venus. I find that in all of Linda-land the Venus/Venus aspects are the ones never spoken about. I can't get any info on it. I guess people don't think aspects to Venus are that important? IP: Logged | |
