Okay, what's your opinion on a Gemini Mercury square a third house Virgo Mercury?

They say Merc square Merc will be bickering and not get along (say it for the most part, anyway) but what about when it's Virgo and the third house for the other one? How does that play into things? (And would Gem-Merc & Virgo-Merc enjoy bickering?)

The impression so far seems to be at least that there is a natural "I'd never go for that sort of humour" divide even if it's hard to say if EVERYTHING the Gemini Merc says is liked by them is then disliked or found unfunny by the Virgo Merc, because comedies can have good bits even when they're not someone's usual cup of tea.

There seems to be an appreciation for the other's taste in music being surprisingly up to date or whatever, even though again the things liked either aren't known or not the other person's usual cup of tea. The same "That's not my usual thing in any way, but I'm not sure if that's automatically bad, or good either" thing that a lot of it has seemed to be so far. I can see how that'd be different Mercurys and "alien" view-points or worlds brought into contact through the square when you'd normally never even run into something like that, but is the 3H Virgo going to have a slightly easier time than if it had been Pisces, or some other house? Better that it's a Gemini Merc squaring the 3H Virgo than a Sag-Merc?

Mostly I think I want to know if people's experience of M. square M. is that it'll destroy everything in the end as some say. I'm sure it depends on other synastry as well and since there is an aspect there should be SOME sort of contact or communication, but on its own when it's two very mercurial signs/houses at each end?

---------

Secondly,

16.53 Virgo Merc antiscia an Aries Mercury

= "I love you" coming up far too often as a thought when just reading the antiscia-Aries Merc's tweets. Seriously. If I'd never checked the AriesM's chart I'd still have suspected him to have Aries for that given the slightly combative or belligerent style of some of the things posted, but whether it's the antiscia connection or some other contact (that doesn't necessarily seem to be very there if looking at other stuff in the chart, without knowing the Ascendant)... It's still love for most of the things the Aries-Merc tweets, or the manner he does it in, along with the engaging topics. Even when not agreeing with everything he posts.

In the latter case also point out that yes, that is entirely someone seen on telly back whenever, and no idea why, but he also followed me straight off after I randomly commented to something a day after finding his twitter. He's followed by nearly 20k ppl and follows a little over a 1000 himself, so no, not the most selective person ever, but also not someone adding everybody.

My reaction was pretty much O.O and horror over not knowing how not to screw up with whatever I'd from then on post, since what I considered my normal stuff wasn't really on par with his social commentary or more. Cue the bugger having replied a few times since that within the last couple of days, and my O.O (Ginny Weasley sees Harry Potter in movie 2) face over not knowing what the hell he's doing continuing.

Mercury antiscia Mercury? Honestly, I don't think there's that much else going on anywhere with the charts aside that and the Suns being antiscia each other as well. His Sun opposite my Uranus otherwise, sextile my Moon? My Mercury trine his NN.

Ah, yes, his Valentine conjunct my NN, too, and my Valentine antiscia his NN. Also my Valentine trine his Mercury, but anyway. Since Ceridwen has her Valentine conj my NN as well and we're not loveydovey talking buddies despite our charts having plenty of regular hits as well, let's not credit Valentine-NN contact with automatic greatness?

His Union conj my Sun, my Union opposite his?
Psyche 1 opp Eros, his Psyche on my DC. Neptune conj his Moon but no idea of orb so pointless for the initial contact looks.

Draconic Neptune conj Merc
DC conj drac Valentine
Drac Valentine square Nodes (further emphasizing the Val-NN touches?)
Pluto conj Persephone
Persephone antiscia Proserpina
Draconic Proserpina sext Pluto
Drac Pluto trine drac Proserpina

I hadn't thought about him in years, he'd been married since before I even heard about him so nothing like that as an interest, and while I had enormous respect for one of his characters, that was a character. I didn't expect a major level of sharpness from tweets, having gotten instantly more enamoured with his twitter than with pretty much any seen before. The mind goes "I love you" over many posts, and then I see a picture and am reminded that oh yeah, that was who he was outwardly, and I'm not sure why I'd these days have that much interest, until getting back to the mental side and more "similarity-of-opinions love" surfacing again.

I can't imagine it being anything other than the M. 'scia M. (and the Suns the same) causing such an appreciation (similarity?) of opinions or thoughts expressed. I want to retweet half the things, and have over time run into tons of famous people whose feeds I've just had to stop reading because of sexism, opinion clashes or other issues, however much I may have liked their public appearances otherwise.

Because he's so sharp I end up with some issues over not wanting to disappoint, let him down or be found wanting, completely unlike with other people (because for goodness' sake, it's Twitter), whether famous or otherwise. I'm not sure if respect is the right word, but definitely look up to him a lot more than have to anybody in ages, and before I read the tweets. Not sure what aspect describes looking up to someone from the point of view of not wanting to disappoint, as if a soldier looking up to a respected officer or their father, who's also that officer? I suspect that may be his Saturn square my ASC-DC. Some "Oh god don't let me screw this up" despite knowing that's a bit of a "What?" kind of a reaction over a place that may even define casual on the level of interactions for a great deal.

Anybody else had Mercury antiscia Mercury? Any other comments on Mercury-synastry touches?

Commentary's always nice.

"your opinion on a Gemini Mercury square a third house Virgo Mercury?" and

"Mostly I think I want to know if people's experience of M. square M. is that it'll destroy everything in the end as some say."

"Anybody else had Mercury antiscia Mercury? Any other comments on Mercury-synastry touches?"

as said.

I think a contact between Mercuries is better than no contact at all. Your communication in this case emphasizes the modal characteristics rather than the elemental ones. It all depends on what type of interaction your natal Mercury likes. For example, I have Mercury square Saturn in my natal, cardinal, and I don't mind interacting with fellow cardinal Mercuries.
