To those who have or are experiencing heartbreak, I'd like to share this poem. Helix tells me it's even more beautiful in Spanish. The poem was written by Antonio Machado late in life. When he was 31, he married a girl of 15. About three years later, he woke up one morning to find her lying beside him, but that she had died during the middle of the night. This poem is about the mending and the healing of that heartbreak.Last Night As I Was Sleeping Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt- blessed illusion!- That there was a spring breaking out in my heart. I said: Along what secret aqueduct, Oh water, are you coming to me, water of a new life that I have never drunk? Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt- blessed illusion!- That there was a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures. Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt-blessed illusion!- There was a fiery sun here in my heart. It was fiery because it gave warmth as if from a hearth, and it was sun because it gave light and brought tears to my eyes. Last night as I was sleeping I dreamt-blessed illusion!- That it was God I had here in my heart. Antonio Machado As I wise friend said to me recently: " "Whoever, whatever inspires us is only the vehicle on route to our own awakening. Bless these beautiful souls for the gift they are to us. Amen. IP: Logged |

Machado was born on July 26, 1875, in Seville, Spain, the same day and year as C. G. Jung! TOB unknown. Machado's Moon is anywhere from 4 to 18 degrees Taurus and may have been conjunct Pluto. His Saturn-Uranus opposition suggests he could undergo some kind of sudden, shattering event or experience in his life. If the Moon is involved as the focal point of the t-square, that would be a correlation with the sudden and devastating loss of his young wife so early in their marriage. At the time of her death on August 1, 1912, solar arc Venus squared natal Pluto. IP: Logged |

Virgo28, here it is in Spanish. IP: Logged | |
