There are wonderful connections here, perhaps indicating Soulmates -- but not Twins. Both ways, the Nodal axis is conjunct an angle axis and there are lots of other angle contacts. His NN on your DSC, your NN (loosely) conjunct his IC both give the relationship a fated, "meant to be" feeling and show physical attraction. No wonder it was insane ! This is a karmic soulmate relationship, in my opinion. I have noticed, in synastry and composite, a theme concerning the karma that might be involved here. It's quite strong really, that H6 stellium (7° orb maximum) including Moon, Venus (very sweet together, those two), Sun, Mars, Karma and Mercury. All of that making a nice sextile to Jupiter.
Neptune conjunct the DSC and Valentine trine Destinn adds to the romance (this is getting so sweet you'll get a toothache ! ).

Now, you'll notice that asteroid Karma in the composite is more closely conjunct Mercury, Mars and Sun. In my opinion, Mercury/Karma shows the communication I mentioned at the beginning of my post. Sun/Karma would indicate that the relationship in itself is karmic and fated. Now, MARS/Karma would indicate the sex karmic debts of the relationship. If you look at the synastry, you see that your rulers of sex houses (R5 is Mercury, R8 is Jupiter) are square his karmic and fated points. I think squares to these points (Nodal axis, Vertex axis, Karma asteroid, Saturn, Arabic Part of Fate...) are flags that point to specific past life issues, karmic debts that need to be settled in the present lifetime. Your R5/Mercury is square his Vertex, and your R8/Jupiter is square his Karma. His R5, Saturn, is opposite your part of Fate at 1 Virgo 48, and is square not only your Nodal axis, but also your Mars, which is the ruler of your 12th house, the house of karma. This aspect even works the other way, if we consider his Saturn as the karmic point, and your Mars as the sexual planet. His R8, Mars, is not doing anything special, but I suggest we keep all these placements in mind for the rest of the research.

I just checked your prenatal eclipse charts (PNEs -- Aubyanne's the expert, she'll know more than me about this). PNEs refer to the charts of the last solar and lunar eclipses that occurred before you were born and that show the karma you have added up from prior reincarnations. Generally speaking, the PSEs (solar) carry much more weight than the PLEs (lunar). What you should look at here is a) the Sun/Moon placements, whether in conjunction (PSE) or opposition (PLE), b) karmic points listed above, c) planets/asteroids relating to what you think is the theme of your karmic debts. Compare all these placements to the two natals, the composite, and you'll get a much clearer idea of your karma. Here's what I already have for you.

Umm, no I don't think they're necessary, if there are strong indicators in regular synastry, but in most cases of karmic relationships you'll probably find a few connections with the PNEs.

Looking at his progressed chart then we see his progressed Venus & Mars in a very strong position to her natal Venus & Mars.
Not in the 'usual' alignments we see at the "start-of" .. but when we make a Composite chart of her natal and his progressed chart then we find an almost exact Venus/Mars conjunction (appl. by 1,5). And we all know the underlying geometric strenght of such..

So, to underline again the "new" way of looking at progressed synastry ^^ ;

Since you're here, I wanted to confirm your theory on the synastry of natal and progressed Suns and Moons at the time two people meet (from LeeLoo's progressed synastry thread, I think).

My prSun was conjunct my crush's nSun by 1 degree, separating, when we first met, and a celebrity I like very much had his prSun conjunct my nSun by 1 degree, separating, when I discovered him. These two people have always been very important in my life (if not the most, with my crush). Great work mir, really
