Hello All  I am fairly new to astrology and have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. Forgive me if this topic is posted already, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find a search option on this board to see if this issue has been raised before! I must be blind lol! Anyway, I was wondering if the south node in a composite chart holds any significance. I am dating this man, and in our synastry, his Sun trines my North Node with an orb of -2 and my Sun trines his North Node with an orb of -1. On our combined chart, our Sun conjuncts the South Node with a 0 orb. Can anyone tell me what this might mean? IP: Logged |

This is a past relationship you are continuing into the present. It may have been as relatives, enemies, close friends/associates, or lovers. The house the SN is located may shed some light on the nature of your shared past.Either way, you both had an impact on each other, and wish to resolve in the present any outstanding karma you two may share. Thank you very much blind writer I understand that aspects to the nodes are karmic, but what I'm having trouble understanding is this: The fact that our suns trine each others north nodes in our synastry tells me that we will very easily help each other reach our karmic goals in this life, which sounds fantastic. BUT, when we combine ourselves, our combined sun now opposes our karmic goals in this life together....doesn't this seem like a contradiction? Add to this, in our composite, our north node falls in Sagittarius in the 9th house, a very natural placement, and our south node falls in Gemini in the 3rd house which our combined Gemini sun conjuncts perfectly. What I feel is that this is telling us that together, our goal should be to reach a higher level of understanding of ourselves, our souls and the world, but that we will be bogged down with too much information....we cant see the forest for all the trees so to say.....this seems significant to me and the fact that our sun is bogging us down into old, comfortable modes of information gathering. Now, add to this, I myself am a Gemini, gathering information is what I LOVE to do! And finally, another thought, our combined Mars also perfectly trines our North Node...do you think this suggests that the actions we naturally take will facilitate our purpose in being together? And one last aspect, lol, is Saturn sesquiquadrates our combined North Node as well....any more thoughts? IP: Logged | |
