It looks kind of... intense and confusing. Neptune, Jupiter and Uranus in the 1st, all retrograde, and then the SN in the first on top of that..

I'm not so experienced with reading other peoples' charts. But to me, looking at the chart *feels* like a blast from the past encounter. There are good aspects to Saturn, but the orbs are kind of wide. It may be one of those relationships where you quickly learn some karmic lessons through each other and then you're done. :P (Happens to me all the time...)

Pluto squaring Mercury and Psyche in the 8th is one of the most exact aspects. So that will be a huge tone setter, and it sounds a little overwhelming. However, Venus sextile Moon/Amor exact sounds wonderful. And of course, it depends on each person's natal. Maybe you are used to Pluto squares, and find them comforting. If so, then that aspect might be a source of comfort and not overwhelming at all; a huge blessing.

Pluto squares have always, in my experience, been about facing demons that I wan't aware I had. I think the square correlates to the 'unawareness' factor.

Does it feel like the relationship is working out the way you want it to?
If so, I'd guess that both of you are comfortable with pluto squares or have them natally, and it's all smooth and healthy. If not, then there's probably some stuff in one or both of your 'psyches' that requires addressing, or it will turn into manipulation and obsession. It's happened to me so many times.

But the funny thing is, I used to attract more relationships with Pluto squares and oppositions, and now I attract mostly conjunctions and trines. In retrospect, I was blind to my own demons and projected my insecurities onto the other person, thinking that it was their fault it wasn't working out, that they were afraid of intimacy, etc. But it was always both of us, just blaming and avoiding each other.

Are you talking about pluto because it's the chart ruler?
What about the sun being in the house of the ascendant's sign (scorpio)? And the ruler of the sun in the 4th which is the house of the sun's sign (cancer)
NN in the 7th?

His moon is in Aqua if birth time is correct

I personally don't like moon square sun in composite but it does create at best some sort of fascination with each other.
At worst, you just think the other person doesn't get who you are
This composite also has moon square neptune so emotional deception or not seeing how the other person is feeling might be a big problem given the square with the sun. Moon trine jupiter pretty wide orb...

Pluto trine Mars feels powerful. I had it in the past and I just feelverysupported and we make really good team

This chart seems like a very plutonic relationship. Pluto and saturn square venus might give extra burden or bonds... Depending on how they play out with your natals

Are you both comfy with pluto and saturn natally?

I'm not good at Synastry so I'll leave it to others

( not that I'm good at composite either but you know what I mean)
