Good point and I see what you mean but they keep in touch, do miss each other but focus on other things but when they connect it feels like the feelings have never gone away and will always be there and like they have never truly parted.

Cuz I have this with a lot of people, mostly platonic friends and mostly (but not always) female. I've always assumed it's because we're part of the same soul friend group (probably all of us are very old souls). Kinda had it with my current love interest (we first met more than 20 years ago but there were no romantic feelings back then).

To be honest, until this thread it never occurred to me that it was unusual or everyone didn't feel that way about several people in their lives. Or maybe it's because I'm older than most on these boards so have more experience with it in this incarnation.
