I've noticed a strange pattern with my Uranian relationships (where close Uranus aspects are present in the synastry and/or composite). I haven't exactly experienced the on-again, off-again dynamic that every astrologer seems to point out. What I do find is that - things always seem to happen that disrupt communication in these relationships. It's almost like there is constant drama and background noise. I could have the most peaceful, uneventful week - but if I attempt to contact my Uranian-synastry friend - all of the sudden my boss will need me to come in and my dog will start whinging in the background wanting to go out - and the fire alarm goes off in my building so I have to rush out... or a friend will sms that she needs help with something asap etc. At other times - the weather or transport are to blame. I might plan on seeing my Uranian buddy on a certain date and time, and the buses or trains will stop working, the place we were supposed to meet at will temporarily shut down - and so on... and so forth lol It never seems to end. It reminds me stories where one person wonders why the other isn't calling them after a date - and they imagine scenarios like "Maybe they were hit by a bus O_O" - and everyone has the reaction: "No. They're really just not that into you!" The funny thing is, with Uranian synastry - they could have -actually- been hit by a bus. All these strange, unlikely things happen! Have you guys had similar experiences? IP: Logged |

This happens to me a lot, only I have a lot going on natally with Uranus. (God, that sounds squicky. ) My Uranus opposes Dad's Sun, and something almost always keeps us from getting somewhere. I was saying to dad earlier, "It's like some sort of psychological thriller/horror movie." I was referring to my cabin fever, and this weather, as well as vans not working, or running out of gas, or the power going out just as we were going to leave the house (we couldn't leave mum alone in the dark and cold). well isn't that an on/off pattern? things are conspiring to keep you from getting together so the friendship/relationship can't maintain itself. it's not steady. same principle.

Not necessarily, or entirely. It's crucial to provide outlets for the Uranian energy so that it doesn't always act like a major disruptor. It's certainly possible to have a stable relationship with Uranian synastry, though. IP: Logged |

Yep. In synastry right now I have:Uranus sq Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury Uranus opp. Moon, Saturn Uranus sq Nodes "Things" just "happen" on a daily basis that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to set any type of routine. It's exhausting at times but One needs to learn to just follow flow. Or not.. With "things" I mean: driving to store-someone calls-detour-drive other direction 30 miles. Dinner with chicken. Oven breaks-dinner out. Waiting to be picked up at point B-Point B was misunderstood for Point H-phone breaks-no one can call. etc etc etc etc etc........................... I would say that for a Uranian relationship to function without going absolutely mental it is pivotal to be independent and able to always feel comfortable with Plan B and C. I'd say having a close relation to Universe and/or spirituality helps as it makes it more fun and exciting to never really know what will happen next. IP: Logged |

Wow this is so interesting!!My current crush and I have DW of Uranus/Sun square in synastry. Since I met him, there's been soooo many weird/unhappy/unlucky events and situations. Because we just met and I want us to have smooth sailing, I don't like it at all!! He might think I'm a bad luck!! I was thinking karma has to do with these events but now I think Uranus is very much in effect here... Very annoying! IP: Logged |

Haha me and my boyfriend got sun square uranus in composite, venus square uranus in synastry and moon square uranus in synastry. The day we met was a completely random day, we were both partying on a club we almost never go to, so it was kinda lucky that we accidentally stepped into each other even. Then we were setting up our first date, but the day before we should meet up I accidentally felt on my bicycle lol! I got a big blue mark on my face, and was forced to cancel our first date! But luckily we found another.... but I will never forget when he told me some time after we started being official how he found it very disappointing that I had to cancel our first date, and that he was sure about I didn't wanted to see him again! Besides from that, he had to travel only a week after we met, and he was gone 2 months! So it was kinda lucky that we ever got into a serious relationship... I often feel that we are disrupted by outer circumstances somehow:S But at the same time, we always get very lucky when together (we have jupiter conjunct ascendant and jupiter in 1st house) We meet a lot of friendly people, get free stuff and generally we have many exiting experiences together So it IS possible, but a very odd couple IP: Logged |

I have Uranus square Saturn in my natal chart...and all my relationships have a Uranus theme. Learning to let go is the key, stop trying to be in control and hand control over to the universe and smile as you ride it's ride. If your supposed to meet someone at a certain time but you hit every red light, or you didn't realize the time and are running late....don't stress the time and be upset, or call them upset. Realize the universe is holding you back for a reason. Perhaps had you been 5 minutes ahead the guy who ran a red light 5 minutes ahead of you would have slammed into your car instead of running it without any incident. If your supposed to travel somewhere to be together but the flight is canceled or you missed it, don't worry. Perhaps that's because that flight wasn't good for you...maybe they would have lost your luggage had you made it in time. In some way it wasn't meant for you to be there on that flight at that time. No worries there are other flights and other times! Remember you are always exactly where your supposed to be at every second in time! Maybe you don't understand why in that moment but your still exactly where your supposed to be. Uranus is about letting go of the perceived structure set by laws and dictated by man. That means giving yourself over to the laws of nature, laws of the universe and trusting the universe knows much better than you. The universe guiding and dictating how things flow is much safer for you, it sees a much bigger picture and knows best! So let the universe navigate and Uranus will be your friend. Very very most important thing is to get a sense of humor about how things never go quite the way you expected...AND never forget to thank the universe because somehow they always seem to turn out better that way. Uranus says "Plans?......who needs them! The best places to go have no paths to get there and no expected arrival times!" IP: Logged |

Haha as an uranian person myself I have a very hard time accepting that "everything is for a reason" or "the universe knows better". Sounds pretty much like the universe are having plans for me? And I don't like plans, I prefer my freedom and choice of action myself. IP: Logged |

You have the right to view it anyway you want! I'm just relating how I have come to terms with Uranus personally. Honestly if someone would chose to they can find restrictions everywhere our universe itself is a restriction. Someone could chose to be upset about the restrictions of life all the way down to the gravity that is forcing us to stay on the planet. But reality is, what some see as restrictions are there because without them life would have no form or be able to function in a fluid way. Fluidity requires a structure and structure requires form and form requires boundaries or walls. Structure is energy put into a form or organized into a way that allows it to become a non chaotic flow. People can see that structure as confinement if they want to, or they can see it as organized life, which requires structure. IP: Logged |
