So it's said over and over again, this is a soulmate aspect, but when you do have the conjunction with someone what does it really mean? What's the meaning behind it?

My siva at 0cap45
His parvati at 0cap46

So it's a super tight conjunction.

It also sextiles his sun at 0pis48
It's opps my Venus at 2cancer.
It squares my Pluto at 0lib16

I'm always a bigger fan of a feminine point in a female's chart aligned with the masculine point in a male's chart, rather than the other way around. I agree it's a Soulmate aspect, however.

As to SIVA and PARVATI, iQ has given some great information on these. I'll see if I can't compile some of it for you.

SIVA is among the more masculine type forces you can imagine, however. It's an extremely powerful energy. PARVATI, on the other hand, being the feminine counterpart, carries her own weight, but not nearly on the level of SIVA, or KAALI, for example.

'SIVA rules the Divine Masculine traits dealing with death, destruction, change, rebirth, benevolence by destroying evil, creation of death causers of evil, erasing darkness by using terrifying force and pure masculine consciousness ... strong feelings towards death and destruction of the wicked.'

(I've also gleaned that in a female chart, it can be representative of a male in her life with these energies.)

iQ continues to say:

'Siva as a Principle represents the Positive Polarity that attracts Kundalini Energy from the base of the spine. This is the goal of Tantra: Sex without any Lust nor climax to boost Kundalini, using the 33 Vertebrae like a Wave Guide. In Ancient Literature, Siva is credited with the complete knowledge of Kundalini Yoga, with or without Tantra.
Siva Avatars in Vedic Myths prove that of the three Core Energies [Siva, Brahma and Vishnu], Siva is most dominant. Vishnu takes birth as Avatars during every Age but Siva does not need to take an Avatar Form to visit Earth. Siva in several Myths also exhibits Multi-Dimensional Immortality as Siva, MahaKala, Nataraj, Rudra and Hanuman. Hanuman is the only character to be Immortal, Active and be on Earth in both Ramayana and Mahabharata. Even Krishna gets killed by an arrow, but Siva, ruling Death/MahaKala, has never been killed in an Earthly Visit.

Philosophers have connected the Siva Principle to the Infinite, Unmanifest Energy of the Eternal God.'

(And, one with SIVA conjunct SUN is described as):

'Destined to Master at least one branch of Yoga or any breathing based concentration/meditation technique for attaining a connection to the Divine "Un-Manifest" Actuality of God ... Siva is the Archetypal Deity that "Manifests" in our Mind from that storehouse of Unmanifest Energy. Siva Principal can be utilized by Higher Souls to control Shakti and Manifest different dimensions of "Physical" Reality, which is "Maya" or Illusion. Siva Principle is accessed by deepest Dhyana Yoga, contemplation on God without any symbols or manifested distractions.

A Deity is not God, just another Energetic Construct in our Illusory Planes but a Deity has a very strong Cord to one of the Highest Energetic Levels of the Infinite God Source.'

Can't find much on PARVATI, unfortunately.

I must disagree with this a little. Parvati most definitely is on a level with both of the others. Just expressing herself in a different way. Where Siva and Kaali match each other in being energetic tornados, quite a wild transformative energy, parvati transforms through her capacity for compassion, patience and devotion.

Isn't PARVATI more of the nurturing aspect of KAALI, Ceri?

And SIVA-PLUTO energy I know well; my boyfriend's PLUTO is exactly conjunct his SIVA. That's an intense aspect.

Actually Kaali is the wild aspect of Parvati.

When Parvati gets angry, she becomes Kaali.
